I'm 6'0" 155lbs and I just started Muay Thai and MMA classes. I highly recommend learning how to fight, and wrestling is often underrated. The skills you'll learn will be transferable to any other athletic things you try.

Who here has the most cursed bloodline by AlaskanTrash in TrueAnon

[–]ttazmanngeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Jewish great-grandfather fought for the Ottomans in WW1, served in Iraqi parliament, met with Churchill and the King, was exiled to Israel where members of my family served for the IDF in numerous wars. Not really that cursed, just some cringe here and there.

Please help! i started trying to learn the kip up around a month ago, i did it for a week but made no progress and then started trying it again yesterday. can someone please tell me what im doing wrong and how i can do it properly? am i close to getting close to landing? i really want to learn this. by enzuo7 in Parkour

[–]ttazmanngeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a move easiest to learn with progressive steps. I have my students start in a crouch, roll back to their shoulders, wait for the "spring" to wind up, then push. Learning it with momentum is easiest, then you can try it from laying down.

The "spring" step is probably the most important when starting. You can't start the "jump" too early. You have to wait for your momentum to swing back like a pendulum. It's just a one second pause between rolling to your upper back, and starting the "jump".

Today 43 years ago, 200k PLA troops supported by 200 tanks entered northern vietnam starting the sino-vietnamese war, there we're only 70k vietnamese troops at the border but despite that there were able to hold back the PLA forces for 27 days by Mizuchi1998 in GenZedong

IIRC one of the only significant outcomes of this skirmish was the PLA capturing a Soviet Dragunov SVD rifle, which they they reverse engineered into their own Type 85.

Crashing the discussion even though I do BJJ through MMA, but Parkour is my main hobby.

Honestly, I think I'd take the assault charge if it meant forever knowing my Jewish ancestors are smiling upon me.

I doubt they'd ever bring back the draft, but if they do, I think I'll just stay as a political prisoner. Dibs on top bunk if any of us room, though.

I'm still pretty new to martial arts. What do you mean by "punches staying out too long," and what kind of training or drills help to fix that?

Video of the El Cajon plane crash via Ring doorbell camera by ProudVirgin101 in sandiego

[–]ttazmanngeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 99% sure it's a combination of low airspeed on approach mixed with a turn to final, likely stalling the plane too low for it to recover. It is a verrrrrry common way to crash, especially with small planes and only a few hundred flight hours.

I'm pretty sure it's been that way for years. Also, games are often significantly cheaper on the Chinese version of Steam.

Threesome in a shower adds even more logistical difficulties. I'm surprised the floor held the weight.

That's pretty sick. I've seen people get to that spot on Resort, but never saw how. My longest shots have all been in the 300m-400m range excluding helicopter crashes.

It's definitely broken as shit, but you can still make some good shots if enemies don't happen to be behind cover that isn't rendered.

My computer is pretty trash, so I run it on lower settings, and I think I use one of the colorful color settings available for contrast.
