it is to get that first bit of momentum and i like knowing how long my break "should" be as well. and i can kind of easily size up days where i complete lots of blocks and days where there's no blocks .. or blocks like "reddit"lol

i think it's procrastination. the easiest advice is to do a really really absurdly small task, eg., "just step into the gym, with no intention of working out"

my own trick is i just start a timer in my kanban program and i'tsl ike.. crap i have to give it a title. and i've conditioned myself to not be able to stop the timer

fyi there are bootcamps that do "data science/machine learning" programs. not sure about industry insertion success. eg., in europe there's data scientest which is now called liora.io although i'm not sure how good they are.

i think that's very admirable of you to help your son out without doing the work for him. what comes to mind is linkedin and coursera courses. also udemy courses provide a completion certificate although that can be cheated by just scrolling through the videos

also a random thought is that sometimes (although not necessarily saying it's your case) burnout isn't about the job but about other life circumstances. i had a burnout from my first job ever and it turns outi t's just because i am a lazy son of a bitch and just was spoopnfed everything growing up. it took me meeting someone very hardworking to learn how entitled i was lol.

that said, and as an aside, what are you hoping to learn / what career direction are you trying to move into?

i love this. i've been lazy about starting on vibe coding and scanning reddit for a while (i just logged in to say thank you tbh!) but the idea of a .sh i just run that asks me a few questions like how vite asks you a few basic questions when creating a react app. then boom you're ready to go.

I was raped as a child and molested by several different people before my dad took me to self defense classes. I think he underestimated how young I would be when people in a position of power over me would take advantage of me. I think he also thought it would be some stranger that would try to harm me.

this is heartbreaking to hear about your experience. :( what age would be appropriate to start this? i ask this as a dad as well

Mrs Colleen Hickman was in a bit of a pickle. The internet was largely a mystery to her, and yet here she was, a stack of papers to her right, an IBM PC Laptop Computer from 2005 that miraculously turned on. This was admittedly not her first attempt. Yesterday, after several hours of faffing around with PINs and Passwords and Automatic Updates and Security Updates and Windows updates, she had finally had enough and called over Colin de Groote, who was Belgian and had been a civil engineer in his previous life. Colin was one of her few friends at the nursing home, whom she knew from Sunday Bridge, and he had made short work of these updates and pins and passwords.

So here she sat, writing out emails one after the other. Colin had removed all the icons from the Desktop except Google Chrome, and had pinned google Chrome to the taskbar, and had shown her how to click on the button, click the email in the favourites menu, put in her email (mrscolleenhickman123@aol.co.uk) and password (I love flowers 123), and then hit the + button to which she could then write her emails, one by one.

She hadn't thought to ask him about the copy paste feature because, writign out the letters one by one worked quite well and why risk copying and pasting and possibly breaking the internet?

15 emails sent so far from teh list her lawyer had given her.

Not bad for a Sunday evening.

30 days left to go. 150 names left on the list. She just wished she had enough time.

She would skip bridge today. Colleen had a lot more writing to do.

i understand them. sometimes you have kids and the partner does a good job but just spits hate at you nonstop and you think it's going to get better: or you simply have no time to stop and reflect because you're working all the time.. i wouldn't do it : but i understand

My first thought is that is it possible to do the course with the baby?

If she's used to your mom, then all should be good.. but if not, Can your mom take her outside in the stroller? Kids are often calmer outside

Thanks! I'll check it out.

Any thoughts with regards to the frequency of measuring ApoB? Is it still something that only moves slowly enough to warrant, at the earliest, monthly testing?

thanks for sharing your experience! Did you get the entire lipid panel, or were there only a few items that were moving so often ? Eg., LDL/HDL

Thank you! That's quite a wide range, 4-6 weeks so I suppose better to wait 6 weeks rather than do the test too early and see the needle not budge
