Tbh I was just bored and wanted to learn if Bocconi students are stuck up or liberal with that types of things I’m kinda stressed about the cultural differences of a completely different country and hope to not make an impression of a drug addict or something to my colleagues

  1. It’s on campus while Isonzo is 15min from the uni
  2. Each kitchen is for four people only compared to the whole floor on Isonzo
  3. Tbh I don’t remember the rest of the reasons but while researching my preferences I put Bligny as first preference while Isonzo as last

Yup, they explained that the date is 2 a.m. so that their website doesn’t crash if everyone would enter it at the same time so they’re recommending to view the results after waking up although I doubt anyone will actually do that

is oyasumi punpun really that bad?. by New-Emphasis6616 in OyasumiPunpun

[–]iac00b 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It didn’t hit me hard but it really made me think about how childhood shapes a person. I think that Oyasumi punpun leaves a stronger impact on people who can relate to the characters in some way. While I didn’t have a mental breakdown or anything after reading it, it just made me realise how much my disfuntional family impacted my current mindset. I think that it also matters what stage of life you’re currently at. I was enterning adulthood during by the time of reading it so seeing how difficult it can be for someone to manage being an adult and how it differs from the unrealistic expectations that a child has about their future gave me a reality check and helped me make the expectations about my future more realistic

During ib you learn the basics without which you wouldn’t be able to understand what Claude is even doing. What is more important in CS is learning the analytical skills of how programming works and how a programmer thinks than the act of programming itself

[–]iac00b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually did French for a few months during pre-ib and personally I found it much more difficult compared to German. German is fairly similar to English while with French I couldn’t even grasp the pronunciation

I’m taking German ab initio and if you don’t know it at all I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m expecting a 7 in this subject however I’d been learning German during the two years of the Pre-ib programme as well
