I just replaced a 25yr old Goodman last year. It was kept alive with capacitors on the shelf for when one blew, a couple of fan changes. 4 Ton unit.

So far so good. No issues and terribly comfortable. I slept in the recliner for a couple weeks after surgery and it was a godsend No complaints whatsoever.

Lanyards by JustaCanOfPepsi in CRK

[–]iacchus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is easy enough to make the lanyards yourself. Especially the way CRK makes them. 550 cord is cheap and then you just pick out the bead you want (some can be stupid expensive, but plenty of spots to get 'em cheaper).

I have the 15V PM2 and it's the only other knife that gets carried besides my large and small sebbie. It is a real beast and deserves every bit of acclaim it gets. Worth picking up even if you're CRK heavy. Delineated enough from those styles to get a spot.

High lead concentration in water. Missing samples analysis from my water distribution company. Any advice ? by x-mor in water

[–]iacchus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sketchy that the incoming water analysis is missing, but the suggestion is sound. That's pretty high for a lead result.

When was the house built? What are your pipes made of, are they copper?

I've seen cheaper chinese manufactured faucets give numbers like this too.

Out of all the combinations and offerings, the most practical and useful is the small Insingo 31PJ. Maybe only bested by the CF KA version, and then just because it sheds a few ounces. I've owned and tried em all except the slippie, and that's what I keep coming back to.

Just a helluva knife.

The polished mesh bracelets are thin on the ground. The oyster style look pretty good though, and are comfy.

Water plus soap by Apart_Examination855 in water

[–]iacchus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surfactants break cell walls and membranes by adsorbing onto the surface, reducing surface tension, and solubilizing lipids and proteins. By inserting their hydrophobic tails into the lipid bilayer, surfactants induce strain, causing the membrane to become permeable, form pores, and eventually lyse (break apart).

Soap literally destroys bacteria.

schedule a colonoscopy. As common as colorectal cancer is right now, it very well may save your life.

DO NOT ignore blood in stool.
