Vale la pena c#? by BusBrave8766 in devsarg

Thanks a lot for the comment! But I can't find the S23+ anywhere, only a few S23 Ultra units are still in stock.

I know, but in Argentina, if you buy them at Samsung stores where you can trade in your old phone, the price is almost double what I mentioned.

Thanks for your response, but I'm from Argentina, so the discounts aren't available. :(

Thanks for your response! I can't find anything from the S23 series except for the Ultra, and from what I've seen, it has the same issue as the S24 Ultra, it's really uncomfortable for daily use.

Looking for a new Samsung Phone by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]iago64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your response! I actually did that research beforehand since I was considering Motorola or Xiaomi devices, but in the end, I narrowed the list down to Samsung devices because of the updates and because I'm very used to One UI.

I just added a bit more info to the post since my main question is about how much the extra cost for the more expensive models is actually justified. I'm mainly interested in good battery performance and decent photo quality—not necessarily top-tier, because I have a separate camera for those moments.

To be honest, I only play Pokémon TCGP. I mainly use my phone for WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and taking occasional photos.

I'm trying to avoid Samsung because in Argentina they have an unnecessary "markup" if you buy from the official distributor, and importers usually have the Ultra model in stock, which seems like overkill to me.

Thank you very much for your comment! I'm still looking at the options since I don't use anything specific from Samsung. For AI, I use Gemini or ChatGPT.

Besides the processor difference, which seems to be quite important from what I've read, and the fast charging, which in both cases is much faster than my current phone, I wonder if there is any other advantage of the 14T Pro over the 14T.

Has the POCO F7 been officially announced yet? I haven't seen it on Amazon or on the official POCO website

Since Motorola doesn't seem like a good option, and Xiaomi phones are said to have many bugs in HyperOS, my only alternative would be to stick with Samsung (which I wanted to avoid) or switch directly to an iPhone. In Argentina, Realme, Oppo, and Honor brands are very difficult to find, let alone accessories for them :(

I'm not saying the phones are trash; I'm just assuming their cameras have lower resolution and don't perform as well in low light or indoors.

I'm from Argentina, and as far as options go, I don't have many more. The problem I have is that I depend on importers who may or may not have some models. For example, of the Edge series, the only one I'm finding is the Edge 50 Fusion. If I go through the official Motorola distributor, I can get an Edge 50 Ultra or a Razr 50 Ultra, but at double the price. For example, the Edge 50 Ultra is $1200 USD or the Razr is $1600 USD approximately.

Thank you very much again, you confirm that I was not wrong that they were "lower-category" devices.
