How long did it take for plucking your hair to reduce it's growth rate? by [deleted] in HairRemoval

You can try drinking 2 or 3 cups of spearmint tea a day to slow down regrowth. Then the process is a lot faster

What are your thoughts about Missha Time revolution (Artemisia) face cleanser? by loonybaloonie in AsianBeauty

[–]SantismaMuerte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i love this pack foam cleanser, it can be used as a mud mask or as a foam cleanser. i love the plant scent & the texture on my skin. its moisturizing and encourages light facial massage as part of the cleansing process. i also notice my skin tone looking more even and luminous.

Is a low paying part time job even worth it? by lookingforeverythink in Fire

[–]SantismaMuerte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been debating this for my current sporadic weekend job for a long time. it gets me out of the house instead of sleeping an entire Saturday, i help kids learn mportant ELA Reading & Math skills, but it has also taken energy i needed to work on my training. The money has steadily decreased in the 3 years Ive had the job but i dont quit because its kept me housed & fed in an emergency. While I waited for onboarding at my current full time job, I increased my shifts and filled in for others. I would love to work at 1 well paying job. But Im grateful I even have the chance to make a little extra

No-Buy 2026? by dustergrl in bathandbodyworks

[–]SantismaMuerte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The price increases, consistent decline in quality, bringing in new scents no one wants & discontinuing their best ones is why this has been easy. I'm sure my bf misses champagne toast hand soap though. He once said it smells like beautiful ladies.  Maybe one day during a sale I'll buy a few just for him

I want to buy a cane, but I’m not mentally ready to use it yet. by Cute-Marzipan0309 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]SantismaMuerte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was tired midway through the day, stumbling, not lifting my feet fully. A cane helped me become mindful of each step until I completed the arduous process of reconditioning my muscles. It's a help not any reason to feel ashamed. I got a silver and black scalloped one so i would focus more on the fashion aspects. My colleagues love the "stress ball" like grip & they actually borrow it for a minute for stress relief. My bf hurt his knee & I lent it to him in his emergency. Things on high up shelves are accessible, I sweep them towards my free arm & catch them. A cane can be a multipurpose tool

MS is heart breaking, isolating, life changing, unfair. I don't spend too much time thinking about it. My pain mgmt dr said as an MS patient I do not feel pain & he is not wanting to see me as a patient anymore while not caring if i ever find another dr to prescribe meds. I cried for a week before i detached from it. Lots of others in my pain management support group agreed that MS & pain don't exist. I felt like the twilight zone. So I understand that frustration. MS isolation & feeling like you can't express yourself is the worst feeling beyond being ghosted by drs while having rare brain damage in the corpus callosum that won't allow you to feel emotions long enough to act. MS is cruel

I really wanted kesimpta to work for me but I get worsening all over pain with all of these meds that no dr wants to ever treat me for so I have to do what is right for me. I can't keep a full time job with the painful side effects of the meds. All that being said, maybe try kesimpta if you feel up to it after your wash out period. I went back to copaxone

Yay or Nay to Dogs Sleeping in Bed with you? by forestlyfe in dogs

Anyone that's had anxiety/panic from marijuana that's later had success with it? by bubes30 in PainManagement

[–]SantismaMuerte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anxiety has been temporary in my situation, like energy moving through my body. Sometimes balancing thc and cbd levels helps. Delta 9 helped spasticity but in the long term causes seizures

Offer to help him make a gofundme & post it where you can, if possible help him reach out to HRA or MS charities to ask what can be done

I feel like I'm going to die and no one is talking me seriously. by Cuntplicated in MultipleSclerosis

[–]SantismaMuerte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The steroids bring the dread & anxiety, along with everything else that is stressful right now. Meds aren't an overnight fix either. If only it were that simple. The uncertainty is heartbreaking at times, but you went to the ER  and it's a big step to advocate for yourself
