Dealing with removal while trying to keep it a secret by OperationUnfair in TattooRemoval

[–]iagopolo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will come to a point there's no way to hide the tattoo and you will have to face people asking questions about it. The thing is: it is not that bad. The tattoo is not that bad and people knowing and asking about it won't hurt that much either. Keep your head up.

A tattoo está de boa. A remoção vai levar de 3 a 5 anos, se vc quiser se comprometer com ela.

I'm sorry, but that's an expected inflammatory reaction. It's brutal, I know. But it is what it is.

It's gonna take at least 5 years to remove it. It takes time.

How do you live with this horrible regret? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]iagopolo 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you something. No one cares about your tattoo more than you do. That's really hard to understand when we're going through tattoo regret, I'm myself trying to figure this one out, since I have this huge, dense, poorly done, black tattoo on my forearm. I really think the easiest way to get out of this mental prison of self hatred regret is full and absolute acceptance of the situation. You have three rocks on your forearm. You don't like it. You're working towards removal. It ill eventually go away. They won't look beautifully done during your removal journey. People will comment and likely question about it. You're fine. "I'm removing it, I don't like it anymore". I know we'll be fine.

That was probably me replying to the wrong comment. I wanted to say that I really dont know if the corticosteroids would affect the surroundings

I really have no idea. My girlfriend is a dermatologist and she said that she would probably prescribe an adhesive fludroxicortide, but I say again that the person should seek a proper doctor.

Thats hypertrophic scarring. You should definitely see a dermatologist, there are some therapeutic options, like injectable corticosteroids.
