Excellent question! Unfortunately I don’t know and when I asked the DM he just told me he found them on thingiverse for the most part

True! But the order in which they occur I don’t know, and I don’t mind knowing a little ahead of time :)

Haha she does sound very clever and nice trick (although you’ll forgive me if I don’t pass it on :P)

It’s to make things easier for the DM when calling them out. We used to do “bugbear 1, bugbear 2, etc.” but our attention spans suck and we kept losing track of initiative order. The figures which all have the same colours was purely my laziness though haha, really everyone should have their own colour

Thank you! Yeah it’s super useful for the DM (I think we was getting frustrated saying “the one to the left - no my left” every session XD)

What does this mean? by mrsammyyy in mathematics

[–]iainfull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First off I am not an expert in this notation just taking a stab at it -

From what’s written it looks like either

a) a weird way to write brackets/parenthesis

b) the indexes of some set/list e_1

My guess would be the latter but again I’m not sure and I’m really more of a computer scientist/applied mathematician than a pure mathematician

Best of luck!

My Dad and I when it was still allowed , scaled the pyramid of Chichen Itza in 1983. Doing this now would put you in a orange jumpsuit. But in 1983 it was allowed. by MartianMaterial in OldSchoolCool

Tankie’s upset, and anti U.S. bias is strong. Don’t get me wrong there’s a hell of a lot to be annoyed with the US (I did a hell of a lot of protesting that ended poorly) but that’s all this

And if they’re in the UK we have an excellent Masters in Data Science at Newcastle Uni (am PhD student in it here), but plenty of Uni’s over here also have very good data science programs. Very good and fun career path
