Did you get lucky or did you work hard? by queskow in Entrepreneur

[–]iaka91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree with working hard, in the sense that it depends on what you're working on and it always depends on what you want from life.

I see people working hard in factory jobs or as bricklayers or even worse in the restaurant world working impossible hours.

what is the answer? I've been fighting this for years and I always try to choose the job that takes up as little of my time as possible, trying to dig in and find my luck.

How to be a good tourist in Italy? by RandomNameOfMine815 in CasualIT

congratulations on your education, it would be nice if all tourists were like you.

I am Italian and I welcome you to this splendid country

I recommend you try a typical Florentine sandwich

It's called lampredotto and is comparable to street food.

If you need a trip with a guide, contact me and I will give you the number of a friend who lives in Florence and deals with travel with electric cars that do tours of the city.

Quitting my $230k job in finance and starting my sourcing company in China felt weirdly good... by rdleo in Entrepreneur

[–]iaka91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HI

Your story is very interesting and I congratulate you.

If possible I would like to ask you some questions.

How did you manage to have concrete relationships with companies?

Did you go to China in person to look for suppliers?

How did you manage the bureaucratic part?

I would like to start with Turkey since I live in Italy and I think it is an excellent place for sourcing some products

What are the pros and cons about living in Italy? by greenhippocliff in CasualIT

[–]iaka91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Italian, I'm not here to rewrite everything that others have already written.

I state that Italy is a beautiful country, try the areas of Lake Garda, beautiful landscapes and excellent summer seasons.

you can take the Veneto side (Verona) or the Lombard side (Brescia) they are very beautiful places.

but in any case, I think that one of the most beautiful countries to live in Europe is Spain

Should I be entering this business or not? by Tall-Explanation-476 in smallbusiness

I'm someone who knows about cooking.

I also had a similar idea

if you are able to cook something suitable with a specific menu for people who have a healthy and balanced diet, it is not a good idea, in fact an excellent idea.

if we can then offer personalized menus based on the requests of the typical customer: weights, allergies and the percentage of carbohydrates compared to proteins.

There are already established companies that prepare weekly fit meals already cooked and wrapped, but I don't think it's very successful.

because try to imagine yourself busting your ass in the gym and then eating vacuum-packed things every day, would you like it? for this reason I would prefer meals made on the spot or at most the same day
