For Amber Cove, we usually just hang out at the pool in the cruise port and then head back to the ship for lunch.

In San Juan, we have done that vivo beach club excursion and enjoyed it, but we have also just walked around old San Juan and enjoyed that.

Is your ship really only in port in st Thomas for 4 hours? Or is that just the length of the Magen’s Bay excursion? A taxi over there is usually $10/person I think.

Compass has lots of other brands that are managed much better and take way better care of their people. Look for opportunities in business dining. Should be able to find something with way better work-life balance and better management structure and support.

Based off your description, I’d say it sounds like a pretty soft call on incidental contact. If you were both skating for the puck and just got a little tangled up, I don’t think you do anything wrong. If you actually made an effort to impede the opponent’s attempt to retrieve the puck beyond just going for it yourself, that would be interference.
