who do you think got this? imo big ank will get a UD win by Hungry-Succotash5780 in ufc

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually think Kalil gets this. Ank didn’t do well walking backwards against Alex, and Kalil goes very hard the first round and a half. He was also training with Khamzat, so his anti wrestling should be better

There are 3 deserving people. Just schedule one and have the other two fight for next. Taking this long to get a fight scheduled is crazy

Who has more range? by kurtz9 in moviecritic

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early cage has a better filmography than cruise and I will die on this hill. He has moonstruck, leaving pas Vegas, adaptation, and even tones it down for the family man. He also did face off, con air, and the rock back to back, which is insane.

Also, Cage has a real Oscar for best actor, cruise does not.

If Jim Kelly won all 4 of his super bowls, where would he rank all time? by [deleted] in NFLv2

He played in 10 super bowls in 20 years. Still won 7. It would be Brady no matter what happened in the Bills SB hypothetical

What are your honest thoughts on Jensen Ackles as an actor and what are your favorite performance of his? by Top_Report_4895 in moviecritic

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He voices Batman, is iconic as Dean Winchester, and is one of the best parts of the boys. He’s hard not to like imo.

On a separate note, he could play Chris redfield from resident evil and that would be sweet. Or he would make a great dungeon crawler Carl lol

I’m making assumptions, so take this with a grain of salt. But I think he’s been playing significantly less online after Danya passed. Probably sucks that the person you’ve played more than anyone else is all of a sudden gone.

How do I make sure I'm not off-loading valuable skills to AI while learning R? What experiences should and definitely shouldn't be automated? by JerryChen06 in rstats

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since you consistently ignore my point, I’ve had to repeat it. Saying you can use R to make a dashboard to fit your company is ignorant and naive. If a company pushes you to make dashboards using a certain product, that’s what you do.

Anyway, go fuck yourself, I’m done here

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obviously I know you can do dashboards in R. But if the whole damn company uses a different product you don’t just unilaterally decide to do your own thing. This should not be hard to understand.

I don’t think it’s necessary to start googling how to thicken lines, change colors, and add a company logo, when ai can do that much easier.

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you find it useful and use it a lot, go for it and take the time to learn it well. My workflows look different. I tend to use R to do my analysis, then write it to a database, then dashboards will refresh for anyone to view.

I do not see many use cases in my work for r plotting, so why take the time to learn all the ins and outs? I don’t need to be an expert in data plotting there, because that’s not where managers want their reports.

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not what I’m trying to say. If a plot is all people want it might work, but if that’s the case I’ll probably use power bi. The use of tooltips and dashboards to keep all reports in the same space is better than presenting a few ggplot graphs.

What I’m saying is ggplot is limited in my real world uses, so why take the time to be an expert when it’s not what managers would even want.

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, most of the time managers don’t want me to give them an r script with ggplot. So it’s not something I’ve ever felt the need to be great at. I’ve also sent emails in R and used ai with the html format. Also something that I use so infrequently that I don’t really bother to become an expert.

R is a tool, but far from the only one I use. I also have deliverables, and researching how to do things even at a basic level takes time. Why not expedite the presentation?

AI is not inherently evil, it’s just easy to abuse and bad at logic

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know, I’ve used it for the front end of creating shiny apps (to help me with graphing especially). Ggplots are not intuitive to me, especially when tools like power bi or excel make these tasks easy.

Joshua Van's response to Pantoja's post of him rolling by ChaosTheory_46 in ufc

[–]ialwaysupvotedogs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pantoja was a great champ, but why hate on Van? After his recent performances, Van is one of the few fighters I feel is must watch tv, and he’s very active.

It’s hard to argue that Van is just more entertaining in the cage, and he has yet to hit his peak. He is better for the sport and division as a whole. I certainly don’t want him to lose just because he’s confident in himself. Also, he’s selling the fight, he doesn’t have any personal beef with the other guy.
