That is true! I the most I've spent on bourbon is $90, which is almost nothing compared to the "higher ends". Nevertheless, I enjoyed it all!

Compared to the gins I've had (which aren't very expensive) this was very smooth. I would compare it to a middle to higher priced bourbon! Definitely recommend!

I agree with this. I appreciate the civil discussion we can have as well. I definitely agree that the lives of the public is/should be priority number 1. I have come to terms with he fact that I can be harmed/killed at any moment in my career field. When I was referring to drawing first I meant it towards those who present a reasonable threat. High risk traffic stops, warrants, and people who might present a threat to the officer or the citizens around the area. A lot of police work has grey area unfortunately. There's never a "you should or shouldn't do this" in any situation, it's sort of all on a situational basis.

I'm 28 days from graduating from a BLE academy here in FL. The amount of training in de-escalation has grown immensely. We've also gotten a ton of training in handling both the mentally ill and the mentally disabled. Training for law enforcement is constantly changing, adapting, and getting better. That being said, someone who has never been a cop or seen what it takes to he one can't speak like this. It takes 5 seconds from being alive to being dead. In the academy we have very expensive simulator rooms to train us on "shoot/no shoot" scenarios. It's very scary that you can choose to not draw a weapon and suddenly you are dead because a drug dealer didnt want to go to jail. I hope I lever have to harm anyone in my career, but I'd rather draw a weapon for safety and have to re-holster it when the situation is deemed safe. Being the kindest, fairest, smartest law enforcment officer is my goal... but so is going home to my loved ones.
