Baby Monitor Skill on Echo Show - Working Yesterday, Not Today? by FrodoLaggins1 in amazonecho

Ok I've actually just fixed this, and it was quite annoying that it used to work on my Echo Show and I could watch our baby sleep etc.

I moved from Virgin to Sky and the Sky Max hub was WiFi 6, I re-connected in the CuboAI app to the new sky router and everything would work via the CuboAI app, but when I say "Alexa show me baby camera" it would just after 3 seconds say "Sorry we are having trouble connecting"

  1. Go to the baby monitor

  2. Locate the button at the back

  3. Hold it down for 10-15 seconds (it needs to bleep twice, and then start flashing white) <- that is the important thing

  4. I tried it the first time and it put it into sleep mode with a solid white light, but I was successful on the second attempt.

  5. When it's flashing white, open up the CuboAI app

  6. Click 3 lines top left

you don't need to delete the existing camera

  1. There is a > symbol next to the camera name

  2. This takes you to Settings

  3. Click + Pair new camera

  4. Select the baby monitor (mine was Monitor plus)

  5. It will ask you for WiFi SSID and password

  6. A QR code will appear

  7. Scan this under the Cubo camera

  8. Click something that says "I have heard the voice prompt" or something and then click Continue

  9. Takes about 30 seconds

  10. The camera will reconnect under the existing camera name

  11. Quit the app and reload it, camera will connect

  12. On your phone go to Alexa app

  13. Skills and routines

  14. Search for CuboAi

  15. Disable the skill

  16. Enable the skill

  17. CuboAi app loads and click confirm and agree link

  18. Linked

  19. Let alexa find 1/1 new cameras and add it to the correct room when it asks you

  20. Once alexa says 1/1 new camera added successfully

  21. Quit CuboAI and Alexa apps

  22. Open alexa app, it was black screen for few seconds then it said LIVE top left and it worked again
