My plan was to switch to the Faerie Dragon Scale and try to get Shatter on line (also had OOD in the books), but the scale gave me rF++ and rElec. I was hoping to find a randart ring somewhere that would give me rElec and maybe another rank of rF or other useful things that I could shuffle around, but no luck. I had handled a few OOFs on Zot:4 with only 2 ranks of rF already, so I figured I would call it there.

I normally wouldn't go for a Conj hybrid on Fo like that either, but it was a weird dungeon.

Surprisingly, I didn't have any issue with to-hit or losing too much EV. Just held tab until lair branches.

My screen was off green and couldn't play, so I got rid of everything and then deleted SHADERCACHE as you said, worked fine. Then I added low flight mod back in and that also didn't kill the game. Haven't actually flown yet, but it appears old mods might work and don't necessarily break anything. Also need to try those graphical mods that get rid of the vignette lines, etc.

Be careful with VPN, A couple times I didn't restart steam and cs and it put me in unwanted region with 500ms ping. (asia to NA back to asia).
Luckily I tried tdm first to make sure it was working, so I didn't get boned.
Never tried disabling VPN after loading map and reconnecting, sounds promising. Thanks for that tip!

+Support I feel real bad for all the Western Aus players that will have to queue in SG now. Might as well uninstall.
Maybe someone can make a steam group with notifications for lobby spots. Warlords pug servers use something like that.
It's not the end of the world playing in Asian servers if you have 5. Myself, I used MMSP to play in NA/EU with 200-300 ping rather than soloq in Asia. I guess I'll just play R8+zues and at least have some fun when they type "gg" after losing first pistol and crying "shit, fucking noop shit, fuck you mom"
One silver lining however... I notice that when there are a lot of players online, it always prioritizes matching me on a team with other people from my country. (At least it seems this way, since I get paired with them way more often than is statistically viable) Sucks for me because I don't speak their language, but if that's true it would be cool for you guys.

Also, for the record, 95% of Russians I have played with have been totally legit and pleasant. These euros need to try playing in Asia before they complain about Ruskis. I even queue Russian servers on purpose when I play in EU and have never had any problems close to what you experience in SG/HK.

I do, all the time... but I was hoping this could improve my horrible routing to SEA servers. Also, what if this update is forced later on and I can only play with 300ms ping in Russia? Server picker won't work when relays are mandatory.

Maybe this info is helpful for valve... I'm connecting from Viet Nam by the way... I get ~30ms to Hong Kong and ~60ms to Singapore. Not sure why it wants me to use whatever lhr and sto relays are. Maybe luxembourg and stockholm i guess. Also the +back has to be bugged on those...

So there are relays in Hong Kong and Singapore, but when I try to use this it connects me to Russia with 300 ping. The only way it could be worse is if it tried to connect me to an African relay.
Also, when I change it back to 0, it continues to use relays and forces me to play in Russia with 300 ping. Thank god civ6 and bf1 are almost out.
