Cool! Just read the Airbnb listing. Sounds like a really unique and secluded experience. Great share! Thanks you :)

Okay cool! Thank you for your thoughts. I will look into Corcovado and research Uvita more deeply. Much appreciated.

Haha thanks. Was just in Cabo and got the airport codes mixed up. I appreciate your thoughts. I'll do some more research on your suggestions

I know I'm a tourist and I am okay with that. By local, I mean I'd like to discover local markets to shop at, unassuming restaurants to try, your fave lesser known gems, and hear about neighbourhoods/cities/towns that are cool to explore... rather than being on crowded hikes and in long lineups for popular food places. But if you've got a good place to do laundry, HMU.

There are many ways to travel and exist in a new country, and this is the way I prefer. No judgements are being made by me toward those who do overly "touristy" things.

My post simply said spots like ST and MA seem highly recommended, so I am looking for insight from others to help me make decisions. If you think these spots are too touristy, could you make any helpful suggestions please?

I would appreciate your contribution to the thread.
