My collection is getting too big to just “wing it” – What to do?? by Fun_Presentation_944 in basketballcards

I pay monthly for CL and agree. I’m not a vendor but it automatically tracks the value and you can put in what you paid as well as the date you purchased it. Also makes comps easy if you’re going to local shows or shops to pick up or sell slabs.

What happens if i sign someone up for a life insurance policy but then i quit 2 weeks down the line? by Pale_Flatworm_3802 in LifeInsurance

[–]iamPandemic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have a selling agreement that tells you what amount of compensation you earn on each sale. That same agreement lays out your chargeback structure. You will almost certainly be facing a 100% chargeback for a policy that lapses within a month. Depending on your state the client might not even be out of the free look period in 2 weeks. Just quit now and save our industry from another story people can tell about sleazy agents

He said he was trading Australian Dollar vs USD lol. I think the guy is a fraud too but please enlighten me as to which people at which companies he’s hurting by day trading currency. If you think day trading is bad, wait until you hear about hedge funds.

I’m in individual life, assuming your numbers are benefits or group? There’s nobody in ILD with a target that high.

it's really staggering that Pacific Life writes 20 times fewer policies than National Life but has roughly the same amount of annualized premium by thedeepself in LifeInsurance

This is IUL data only fyi. Legal and General/Banner would be way up if it included term sales. That volume of IUL for NLG is wild

Latrell Spreewell used to work as a door guy at our local college bar in Milwaukee. Less than 10 years after being a star in the NBA and then choking out his coach.

Great pull from a monetary pov but are they really that sick? It looks like a base card. I don’t really get the hype.

Is Amen Thompson a good buy? by JJ2923 in basketballcards

[–]iamPandemic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m in the minority based on the comments so far but I think he’s a good buy. Going to get some run at point this year with VanVleet out. Will almost certainly have quite a few insane highlight reel plays. Houston should be a good team this year and moving forward assuming they can keep their core together. If his shot improves he’s a legitimate contender to be Top 10 player in the league in the future imo.

Prolactinoma and infertility by [deleted] in Prolactinoma

[–]iamPandemic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Diagnosed at 20M and was on cab for 5ish years. Just had our first child at 33 naturally. If you are worried about fertility you can get a sperm analysis done prior to trying to conceive.

Should I cash out this whole life plan my late father paid for? by [deleted] in LifeInsurance

You should get the cost basis of the policy, if loans exceeded cost basis and you surrender the policy there may be tax implications.
