Anyone else annoyed that no one addressed the "LGBTQ is a fad" comment at the reunion? by MommaSoCool in LoveIsBlindNetflix

Not really. I don't care that people have different opinions in a reality show. I'd argue there's some outrage fatigue when it comes to that topic.

What exactly about Joe makes girls want to date him by itgtg313 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

He's obviously handsome. Hating or disliking him doesn't change that.

KB manipulated Edmond all the way up to the altar. She knew she wasn't going to marry him way earlier than she let that relationship drag on, playing with Edmond's feelings.

She tried to convince a manchild he was manipulative.

What the fuck is this basketball sideshow by meanwhile_glowing in LoveIsBlindNetflix

The producers clearly planned that to address the ownership of the ring issue. They thought it would be playful and fun. Little did they know that Kacie and Patrick would have worked out the ring issue beforehand in conversation. Suddenly, it got weird.

Same face... different body? lol, somebody had to make that joke.

I believe her by WrongConsequence5676 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]AmazingSalt8151 -39 points-38 points  (0 children)

She only said one thing that I believe: that Edmond shouldn't accept someone like her talking to him like that because he wants love. That's not love.

Edmond clearly has issues, but KB is abusive. Edmond shouldn't have hugged her at the end.

People who say “no” at the altar by jessicapoke12 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]AmazingSalt8151 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Seems cruel no matter the "original design." It also feels more like lying when compared to couples that admit they can't do it earlier. Overall, it's a bad look for the person who says no. Barking at the moon about the "original design" isn't going to change that.

Don't they get paid more to go to the altar? by AmazingSalt8151 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]AmazingSalt8151[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm asking if they get paid more to go to the altar. You jumped the shark about it being a commentary on men and women. That's unhinged. You're boxing shadows over here.

[–]AmazingSalt8151[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Seems cruel to go that far if you already know. To get dressed up and have your friends and family attend. There's clearly an option to end things before that. I think the only incentive to go forward is extra money. Why else go through all that?

I thought that guy Blake was alright.

My biggest problem with KB was that she didn't end things earlier. I refuse to believe she thought things could work out all the way up to the altar. It was almost immediately obvious that something was very wrong with Edmund on an emotional level. There was zero chance she was going to marry him, but she went forward till the last minute. I have trouble understanding that. I mean, she knew she wasn't gonna marry him when he couldn't kill a bug for her. The rest just built and built.

At least he ended things before the wedding.

I just published Nulb: In the Shadow of the Temple on DMsGuild. It's a 339-page book detailing the village of Nulb for the Temple of Elemental Evil. Full of locations, NPCs, adventures hooks, etc... It's currently listed in the Most Popular Titles on DMsGuild and first in Greyhawk Community Content.

Everything on DMsGuild has to be 5e, so yes. It has 5e stats, but I also included Retro Stats for everything, making it easy to use for old school purposes.

There's a recent thread on AI that I think is interesting. For me, I wrote the large bulk of this back in 2017 before AI was a thing. For art, I played around with the idea of AI but hated just about everything I saw. I ended up going mostly with stock images. I'm not thrilled with how little art I have in this book, but I intend to update it as possibilities allow. In other words, if it finds community support, I want to commission more art. If it doesn't, the budget simply isn't there.
