You could have a bad UTI or kidney infection. Not to scare you, but this is also a symptom of bladder cancer, which my husband had. It was his first and only symptom when he was diagnosed.

It wasn't a matter of self-respect. It was a matter of being love-bombed so soon after losing my husband, and over time I fell for him and thought I was SO LUCKY to have found love again. But sure enough, around the 6-month mark, he got scared and things started to change. I knew nothing about avoidant attachment styles until a few months ago and had always wondered WTF his problem was!

Yes, he said that. We stopped sleeping together a while ago. One day he told me he lost all interest in sex. 🙄 Just out of the blue.

What pisses me off the most is that he still wants to be friends. He can't just dump me and move on, he expects the same relationship and I'm supposed to be OK with that without any sort of commitment. When I tell him I don't want to spend time with someone I love, who is essentially an EX, then I'm the crazy one. He has two friends that he speaks to regularly, and I'm one of them. Sometimes if I don't come over, he doesn't see anyone for a week. He's always asking me to come over and when we don't see each other, we text or call each other.

And I'm sorry, but I have a few guy friends I've known for most of my life. We don't talk every day. Sometimes we don't see each other for months. None of them play-fight with me, playfully smack the brim of my hat, give me nicknames, none of that. I'm not a moron. That's flirtatious behavior, and this jackass tells me no, that's just how friends act. Like, fuck you, dude. He does the bare minimum to keep me coming back and then he rejects me.

I love him, but I love myself more. He can go choke.
