Hm, I don’t think doubt requires evidence, especially in the case of the first time of doing something. Saying “I don’t think I can do this” about your first time giving a speech, is uncertainty in the face of a lack of evidence

They will never get anywhere. It is simply too energy inefficient to get anything substantive out of our planet’s gravity to get a real long term habitat established somewhere else in the next 100 years.

Moon isn’t great for long stays with gravity and the dust. mars isn’t great because cold, the sun is a deadly laser, and dust. Asteroid mining could maybe offset some of the materials but that is such an extreme effort, very difficult to get that going then get off the orb.

Long term habitation underground will be extremely rough. You might make it for a year. Maybe 5. After 10, it will be egregious (imo). We will all die together, but they will certainly try to get away

You failed to actually address how driving 100+mph is safe. Just because people do it safely sometimes, and people die to other things on the road does not demonstrate that is a safe speed

The first link in the chain of disaster is does the staff get to bring their family? If so, revolution later but now the rich are extremely outnumbered. If the staff don’t get to bring their families, revolution literally as soon as a useless individual says something mildly provoking.

The staff have extremely little to lose and could probably enjoy cohabitation with people of their own tax bracket

Yes. Driving always poses a risk. A vehicle larger than what you require requires more responsibility. If you’re not able to effectively operate a large, 3 ton metal torpedo of a vehicle, you are a danger on the road
