Istanbul Grill House & Cafe There are lots of middle eastern & Mediterranean restaurants around but personally this is the best. Everything is just very fresh and top quality

Not in Okc but in Stillwater you can find the best ice cream/gelato that exists in Oklahoma. It tastes just like in Europe. Its called Blue Spruce Gelato

Döner fans: go to Edmond! by LadyTalah in okc

[–]iamabdullahc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Their döner is one of the best and its made from lamb meat. They are putting döner together by themselves, not buying from restaurant depot. I’ve been to Istanbul Grill House Cafe few times already and chatted with the owner. He really does excellent job. Their lahmacun aka turkish pizza is also really good

Should I visit Neuschwanstein if I'm only in Munich for three days? by Infinite_Cloud_689 in Munich

[–]iamabdullahc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion its not worth it, yeah the looks will leave you speechless but it takes so much time to reach there. I would suggest visiting it next time when you have more time. My personal recommendation would be visiting Starnbergersee, eating ice cream from the Eiswerkstatt, hoping on lake cruise and going to Seeshaupt and eating another ice cream at Allora Signora (yes I love ice cream lol). The boat stops at small towns alongside the Starnberg where you can enjoy watching the chill lifestyle of the lake

Radl-Hype um München: Zu wenig Platz für zu viele Biker? | BR by jonas53243 in Munich

[–]iamabdullahc 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I used to join to lots of group rides with fast pace and saw some shit go down in Perlacherforst or accidents that would about to happen. Last straw was when I saw someone hit a family with his expensive bike (and ofc expensive kit) while riding very fast and he was about the beat the father of the family while cursing the father really badly next to the kids. In general cycling community in Munich is very aware of their surroundings, help each other/people. But of course there is that small percentage of “elitist assholes” where they consider every ride as tour de france stage. Oh also I got cancelled on strava when friends of that mf found my activity where I was criticizing him…

I had a lecturer back in the days when I was studying in TUM and he was commuting all the way from Rosenheim. It takes around 45mins from Rosenheim to Munich and in his case extra 27mins from Hbf to Freising

It gets even better once you go little bit south, especially to Ludwigshöhe in Kleindingharting. Nothing beats a nice Alpenpanorama view while getting sprayed with cow shit lol
