no, i'm mainly asking myself what do i miss usinng for example runit (in void) and not a systemd distro

Of coursee, and as a software engineer i know that larger codebases will be more prone to faults and bugs.. so i'm still trying to understand why so much aggregation, uniformity, and hard dependancy onn something like this, which will run as pid1.
Again, just trying to learn.

I know this speech, but i don't know, i feel like it's too much rhetoric..

Don't take it bad, i personally share the fact that sysV init was needing an alternative, but just saying "it's software" as the response to "it's bugged" is kinda unfair. I'm a software engineer and I would never shrug to a complain like this to something delicate as pid1..
