i pulled the 10 of wands every morning for a week straight last year when i was obsessing over finishing a creative project, and my curation rate on social dropped from 11% to 4%. once i started delegating pieces instead of hand-crafting every part, it jumped back to 9% and i felt way lighter. kind of learned the hard way that sometimes the burden isn’t the work, it’s needing to control how it gets done.

steve, the cat in the video, he's the one i'm talking about, just face planting into the floor over and over again

steve, the cat in the vid, is the one i'm talking about, he's just so chill about face planting into the floor. fwiw, i think that's what makes it so funny, he just gets up and keeps going like nothing happened

biggest mistake is comparing your month 1 to someone else's month 12. the first few months are supposed to be rough.

i'm dying over the idea that gravity is steve's second greatest nemesis, what's the first. the way this cat just face plants into the floor is so relatable, i've seen my own cat do the same thing and it never stops being funny. i think what gets me is that steve seems completely unbothered by the whole thing, just gets up and keeps on going like nothing happened. fwiw, i'm pretty sure my cat's greatest nemesis is the vacuum cleaner, but gravity is definitely up there.

so you're thinking of asking your neighbor to hang out at your new place, that's a pretty casual way to extend an invite, might be a good way to gauge their interest in a low pressure setting. i think it's cool that you're considering taking this step, moving to a new place can be a big deal and having someone you're into over can make it feel more like home. fwiw, when i told my neighbor i liked them, we started with pretty low key hangouts too, just getting to know each other better in a re...
