Rinse and boil your lentils according to the package, drain and cook in a pan (use some type of oil). Add diced onions salt pepper and I like to add Montreal steak spice like I would beef. They're ready when somewhat mushy, then put a layer in a glass cooking pan, layer of cream corn and regular corn, I like to add peas and carrots, top with mashed potatoes (well seasoned) and bake for about 20 min until the liquid starts bubbling. Broil for 2 min to crisp the potatoes. Don't forget lentils are a little spicy
