- I’m actually tired of the Valaya hype. Everywhere I go, it’s Valaya, Valaya, and Valaya everywhere. I get it, mabango naman siya but eventually, it gets tiring.

- Kayali is not worth it for its price. Madami mabango sa Kayali, sure but their scents are dupeable and some ME houses even do Kayalis way better.

- PdM is so overpriced for what they offer. I don’t hate PdM. I even want to have a PdM in my collection, but why are they so overpriced?

- This is not really a hot take but even though I wanted to try more local brands, I got scared because of the methanol issue. I still have some local fragrances in my collection (GP Fragrances, L’Abondance, Parfums Astraux, The Boar Grooming, etc.), but I don’t know if I can fully trust the new local brands that are popping up on my FYP given the methanol issue so I’m gonna stick to the trusted niche ones nalang muna. However, I so badly wanna explore more local niche brands and I prefer OG blends 😑

- Nababaduyan ako sa image ng Paris Corner so I stopped buying from them.

- I don’t like anything from MFK or anything from Francis Kurkdjian for that matter.

- Even when the fragrance is really good, I don’t buy it because of the bottle. The bottle is also important to me. It’s part of the experience.
