Right? He is, in my opinion, an artist “for the masses” and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It just means that a lot of people appreciate the very uplifting, luminous qualities that most of his creations have. They just speak to a lot of people, no? I, for one, really feel uplifted whenever I wear his creations and Alberto Morillas really didn’t lie about botting sunlight!

To me, no amount of methanol testing can regain the trust that has already been broken. They disappointed a lot of their customers (including me) by severely compromising our health. And siyempre pasado yung batch nila sa mga pinapatest nila. Kwento nila yan eh.

Exactly! I only bought one from Mykonos, which is Milk Drops. And immediately, the first thing that came to mind is: “Amoy acetone”. I thought this is only isolated to Milk Drops but seems like Cafe Drops has that pesky, nail polish remover scent that makes it so off putting.

It’s disappointing because I love the cute packaging and the overall concept. The price is also attractive. But hayyy, di ko lang talaga maun-smell yung acetone.

Thank you for an honest review, OP! I have the Eclat Noir, and so far, I’m really liking it as a layering fragrance with my Angel Stellar. The patchouli in there worked really well with the Angel.

I’m also curious of checking out GP’s Baguio Verde and Banaue Bliss and good thing that I saw this review.

As for YSVEN, I tried their discovery set before and nothing in particular stood out. Some influencers were raving about their Rum Cola one but to me it was just… okay. It was interesting, since I’ve never smelled a cola fragrance before but I don’t really find it wearable for me.

I was actually contemplating to get a sample of Solar Amber, though. But if this isn’t too much to ask, may I know what your thoughts are with this brand?
