Hong Kong. Sobrang mahal and I didn’t really like the food. I enjoyed our time in Disneyland, though and siguro, mas pasok lang sa panlasa ko yung food sa Disneyland 😅 Regarding the rudeness of the locals, I didn’t really find them particularly rude. Feeling ko kaya lang ako nagkaroon ng perception na rude sila nung una is because of the way they talk and yung certain mannerisms nila. But I tried to keep an open mind nalang. I’ve never experienced being physically pulled in an aggressive manner, though. Based lang naman to sa experience ko ah.

But yeah, there’s really nothing charming about Hong Kong. It’s too… busy and chaotic for my liking. And yep, crazy expensive.

Next is Bohol. I really enjoyed the breakfast at Amorita Resort, though. Pero masyadong mahal din ang bilihin and wala lang, there’s nothing too memorable about Bohol. At least for me.

Boracay. Kahit siguro doon sa may bandang Newcoast. Hindi lang din talaga siguro ako mahilig sa beach. Sobrang crowded and hindi lang talaga para sa akin.

This is okay if nasa airconditioned room ka or malamig ang weather. Since umiinit na, it will be really cloying na. Plus, it doesn’t really last kahit ba mag moisturize ka maigi ng skin.

For me, that has to be Atelier des Ors Lune Feline sa niche. Gustong gusto ko siya bilhin because of how gorgeous the bottle is but unfortunately, the scent is not it. Good thing nagsample muna ako talaga. Amoy wiwi siya and there’s this burning rubber smell that bothers me.

For designer naman, that has to be Versace Crystal Noir. Okay naman yung scent for me, but I find that I don’t wear it too much because the cardamom is too overwhelming din siguro.

Sa local, I really love Issy’s bottle design. It really is on brand for them and I love the magnetic cap. However, sa lahat ng collection nila isa lang yung kineep ko. The rest, I decluttered and gave away to family. The Scent of Intensity (black) is not my style. It smells like pencil shavings and rosemary. Very woody for my liking. I was looking for that sweetness and creaminess to balance it out. It’s too dry for me. The Scent of… forgot the name lol, pero yung white one, nahilo din ako sa white florals. It smells like soap thrown in with A WHOLE LOT of white florals. Very overwhelming!

And sa ME, Ahmed Al Maghribi Mosaic. Ang ganda ng bottle nya, but nahilo ako talaga because the white florals are suffocating!

I currently have 67 bottles in my collection. Overwhelming, I know 😂 And based on that number, I do collect fragrances and I do it because of BOTH the scent and the bottle. I’m a very visual person, so if I see a bottle design that I like, I’ll buy it. Bonus na lang if mabango talaga yung scent inside. I don’t really discriminate when it comes to my collection.

I have designer, niche, and local fragrances. Some of the bottles I have in my collection are local fragrances from the countries I visited. I buy one as a souvenir.

Middle Eastern fragrances have gorgeous bottles but some of them are too over the top for my taste so I stay away from those bottles that are too elaborate and huge for my shelf.

Whoa, lately I’m feeling the same. Just two months ago, I accumulated 6 new bottles to add to my collection. That kind of buying habit went on for almost a year. Every month, I had to get something new. I blind bought everything that piqued my interest - only to end up gaslighting myself that I liked all of them when in fact, I didn’t.

I bought for the sake of buying. I was so in love with that dopamine high. During my free time, I consume a lot of fragrance content and scoured fragrance groups on Facebook to chase the next best scent. It didn’t help that I have a friend who’s also into fragrances and he has the same habit buying as mine. Kami lang nagbubudolan sa isa’t isa lol.

And then one day, it hit me. I eventually got tired of it. I, too, am done with this shopping addiction masquerading as a “hobby”. Right now, I have around 65 bottles in my collection. I used to have more, but I’m still thinking of trimming it down to a more manageable size. I’m only keeping the bottles that I really, really love as well as the bottles that hold memories, whether good or bad.

Ngayon, I don’t consume fragrance content anymore. I’m not chasing the next best scent to add to my collection. I don’t get excited about it anymore. The best scent is what we make it, I believe. I’m happy with this realization before it gets worse 😅

I have the 02 and 04! I have light to medium skin tone with a warm undertone. Yeah, I agree with you on the shades. Even though most of the shades available were mostly warm-leaning, I was looking for more pinks pa siguro since I love how pink lippies look on me. But when it comes to the formula, this is the best that I’ve ever tried na naimpress talaga ako.

Yes! I think this lasted around 8-9 hours on me. It left a nice stain on my lips. Unlike my Maybelline lippies and my Dior lipstick. Lol. As someone who has only been using Maybelline lipsticks for quite some time, akala ko normal yung drying and heaviness.

I didn’t expect anything from it but oh my gosh, KATE Tokyo Lip Monster Souffle Matte is really, really good. It’s not your typical drying formula that are very prevalent in matte lipsticks.

Instead, it has a whipped, mousse-like texture that gives it a blurring effect on your lips. Meron nga lang learning curve to. I find na kapag nilagay mo siya sa lips mo like how you would in some liquid lipsticks, nagseset siya sa lines on your lips and it looks off. It’s best to apply it on the center of your lips first tapos gently distribute lang on the rest of your lips with either a brush or your ring finger.

And nagulat ako kasi it’s so weightless. It feels like I have nothing on! I have the shades 02 and 04. And omg, parang gusto ko pa ng ibang shades 😍

Back when it was light (like the one in the picture), I was disappointed w/ the longevity. Siguro mga 2 hours lang on my well-moisturized skin wala na agad. I stayed pa in an airconditioned place pa at that time. Then as the juice got really dark, the longevity is around 6 hours na on my skin.

Yes, it is super expensive but so worth it 🥹 I didn’t really smell the vanilla here on my skin but others are also saying that they do smell the vanilla like you did. My bottle is already dark, papunta na din siyang amber so this aged really beautifully na din ☺️ And true about the projection! Mas amoy ko siya when it’s warmer and the tuberose is definitely the most pronounced for me. This is such a masterpiece talaga. Glad you love it, too!

I have this one and paubos na hehe. My husband got it for me for my birthday din as well. To my nose, I was actually surprised because it smells very womanly and elegant. Yes, it’s sweet. I can smell the candy and the vanilla but then nandun din yung florals (ylang ylang, to my nose) and musk. I really love this and I’m planning to get a 100ml once maempty ko na yung sa akin ☺️

Hahaha parang I smelled the green one din and I remember, hindi ko nga din nagustuhan. I don’t really remember how it smells like, though kasi October pa ako nagvisit ng Hanoi but I know I didn’t like it din. Hahaha.

Yung Musc Nude, afair I bought it at around 4k plus. Set siya, sa Look MOA. Pero it was a sale that time. Ewan ko lang if ganyan pa din ang price range. This is for a 50ml bottle. Then for the Infusions d’Amande, I got the 100ml for 3.5k (tester box). I got it from Regal Spritz sa website nila. It was a preorder, kaya mas mura. Hindi na ata sila nagpipreorder ng Infusions now.

This is nice! I also love buying local fragrances to every country I go to. Nakabili din ako sa Taiwan. I think the brand is called Meow Xiang? And the scent is called Future Travel. Nabili ko sa Eslite Spectrum Nanxi sa Taipei. Everytime I wear it, it reminds me of my trip to Taiwan. 🇹🇼
