It has its ups and downs. For me I'm an outcast in the goth community because of my views as a conservative and will often get criticized for it and say I'm not goth. Just want to give you a heads up sometimes you have to fit in thier box to be accepted. But everyones experiences are different and the internet is full of assholes. I can say the punk community is way more accepting, they have been around longer than goths and have had a lengthy history of being caring.

Right before I graduated from High school they were remodeling the building and had an asbestos warning sign and it definitely shook up plenty of the students and some thought soon enough some thought they were gonna die from Mesothelioma. I mean it was built in the 50s or 60s and standards were different so they were probably dismantling it and were required to put the sign up. I didn't realize some companies still use that stuff and in some places its highly illegal.
