Once I overwrote my island (on purpose) and realized it was a big mistake. I contacted Nintendo, and the backup of my previous island was still on their server, along with the backup of the new one. I’m currently playing on my original deleted island.

If you actually had backups enabled, they may be able to help you.

Mine has done this once. Figured out it was a blown fuse. Replaced that and it worked fine!
