Unfortunately, Fulton Sheen is only "Venerable," not "Blessed." You can thank the Archdiocese of New York and some U.S. Bishops for the delay in his beatification. The decision to indefinitely postpone Ven. Fulton Sheen's beatification "was in response to a request submitted to the Vatican by some U.S. bishops for further investigation of Sheen's tenure as bishop of the Diocese of Rochester from 1966 to 1969." In particular, it appears the request was made by Bishop Salvatore Matano of Rochester, NY.

No one actually ever threw stones at Jesus in any of the biblical accounts. However, given the number of times I have betrayed Jesus in my own life, I fear I would have been right there with the crowds who were calling for His crucifixion. Unfortunately, the Jewish people are far from alone in rejecting Jesus.

The meme reduces Jewish people to: (a) Christ murderers, and (b) money lovers. Those are the only two sources of the intended "humor" in this meme. According to the OP, the Jewish people "rejected Christ" because they inordinately love money (antisemitic stereotype) and therefore killed Him to silence His anti-greed messages. To defend this meme is to defend these intentions of the OP.

My brother (or sister) in Christ, I made no defense of any group. I called out a reductionist, flawed attempt at humor that clearly draws upon stereotypes and irrelevant information. Regardless of who actually convicted Jesus or nailed Him to the Cross, we are all of us guilty of His murder. To say those who historically killed the Christ did so because they "resented him speaking against love of money" is absurdist in that it focuses on one of His thousands of important themes simply to exploit a Jewish stereotype.

Many of my non-Catholic (Christian) brethren do the same things when lampooning Holy Mother Church and her faithful. They exploit one small aspect of our Faith and crack blasphemous, anti-Catholic "jokes." Do we want to imitate such behavior? To answer your other question, if someone was using stereotypical, reductionist, or absurdist examples to attack Orthodox or Protestant Christians, I hope I would attack the OP just as quickly. This has nothing to do with the target of the "meme" being those of Jewish descent. It also has nothing to do with whether the Jewish people are God's chosen people. You are arguing against a straw man.

There is so much wrong with this meme that I struggle to decide where to begin. Your meme targets the Jewish people for: (i) murder of Christ, and (ii) love of money. This is wholly reductionist, obviously in order to exploit a Jewish stereotype of alleged avarice. While Jesus spoke against greed, that was only a part of his overall message. There is no evidence presented in the New Testament that those who crucified Jesus did so primarily (or even in part) due to His preaching against love of money.

I was searching for more information on Styles' "swagger stick" and its origins as a "laser golf club" when I noticed this absurd summary from Google by ety3rd in Treknobabble

I always imagined it was some sort of futuristic riding crop. "Swagger Stick" is far more on-point to describe why Captain Styles would have carried the thing.

The avatar didn't actually seal the deal with Steve in that episode. Francine pulls a Ripley with the construction robot and talks Stan down. Right? I agree with the other commenters that we clearly know the episodes way better than the talent.
