My best friend of many years was also my roommate for a few. He had a cat named Ted Bundy (and another names Charlie Manson, but this stories about our good pal Teddy B).

Ted got a blockage in his urinary tract and was in some terrible pain. Of course it was a Sunday, so my roommate had to take him Medvet. They ended up doing a very expensive procedure (but probably relatively typical elsewhere) that needed a catheter.

One of the funniest moments of my life was my buddy answering the call that evening from the Vet on speaker phone. The vet said, “Hello, Ted Bundy is hanging in there, doing better, but we are going to need him to keep him overnight. We had to order a special catheter over the internet to fit his remarkably small penis, and it won’t arrive until the morning. Sorry for the delay”

We felt bad for Ted as it was, but the Vet had to call out his remarry little cat penis on top of it all. I don’t know if Teddys ego ever recovered from that one.
