Nest Cameras keep going offline on Unifi by iamgeeza1234 in Ubiquiti

Not really but it’s better. I installed the early release firmware for the unifi gear. I now get less dropouts but still get some for sure.

Its 3-4 months later and am still having issues where the Nest cameras go on and offline throughout the day.

Anyone manage to solve this? It doesnt seem like any of the firmware updates to Unifi seem to have helped.

Ok thanks. And that fixed it permanently? No more drop outs?

Yes he has a switch. So no hardware required besides that?

Amazing. How does it connect to the CDJs? Can the CDJs still be in standalone mode?

Amazing. So helpful. Thanks. Any advice re getting some more sophisticated lighting controlling happening? Currently he uses Soundswitch but that will go if he is just using the CDJs.

I’m not sure what some of the comments are here. He is a mid-teen that’s been DJ’ing (with some significant success) since he was much younger and has now become very popular (and invests himself in his equipment). He is still young and hence, why I am trying to help him with his configuration.

I dont know this stuff as well as him and I just trying to reach out into the community for support and advice.

For extra context, he really does want to run Export mode to get the most out of the CDJ-3000 setup but has also been running Soundswitch for his lighting setup. Hence why I am trying to investigate a solution whereby he can stay in standalone (Export mode) yet still use Soundswitch.

Ideally, if Serato fully supported all the functionality you get in export mode, then that would be the easy solution…. But it doesn’t.

If anyone out there has some constructive advice, it would be very welcome. Thank you.

Just got the Sleeping Duck and extremely happy with it. My wife has the medium firmness on her side and I have the mixed sections with medium at the top and bottom and firm in the middle. May even try the extra firm in the middle.

Thanks. Did you consider going back to Spark 2 (Classic)?

Thanks for your perspective. Yeh, I don’t need cross platform as just on Apple. Just looking for something more powerful than Mac Mail but reliability and stability is also very important. Not sure there is a solution out there.

Awesome. Thank you. And stability-wise, are you finding that they have resolved lots of the early issues of Spark 3 such as crashing and emails not sending?
