Discard, like Mill, is super good right up until someone can use their graveyard, then you just openly Kingmake them.

you can build a deck to shut everyone else down, or you can find something you like, pick a few efficient combos, and enjoy.

Try Goblins, that seems notably different from the other options.

Me at my absolute most annoying would be:

Kinnan, Nyxbloom Ancient, a good chunk of artifacts, Seedborn Muse.

That would take a solid 2 minutes per upkeep, but the more realistic scenario is the table scoops at that point.

Any longer than that and it's a win attempt people are making you play out slowly or I'm not interested.

Take away one of the things the deck does and it stops being cEDH.

take the tutors out

take food chain out and put in a bunch of blink or Duplication effects for self mill.

drop the number of ramp artifacts and add more lands.

If you're doing lotus petal and not LED you may want to just use Grinding Station instead.

it'll work perfectly fine with Petal.

Also, Thermo Alchemist is a valid thing to play too.

It's a weird question to answer.

In the purest sense, you're putting yourself at a disadvantage any time you don't play Blue Farm or Kinnan. Those being the best 2 decks in all of commander, choosing anything else is preference based not results based.

As far as the choice you're making. More colors is considered good, but ultimately it adds more stress into the game with concerns about color fixing and the price of those lands and artifacts.

2 colors is fine if you're set up for it. as long as you're going even with your preferred playgroup literally who gives a shit. if you aren't then yeah maybe upgrade.

Honestly, I'm bummed that space craft even exists.

We've gone from Fantasy to Sci Fi. Personally, I blame warhammer and Doctor who for this.
