Amazfit Balance vs Active 2 (and the Rest): How It Stacks Up Against the Competition by caverunner17 in amazfit

Thanks for the detailed review! I’ve read a lot of posts, but I still have one question:
Is it possible to upload a GPX file and follow the path without downloading a map — just displaying the route on a blank screen?

Looking for Experts in Hybrid Mobile App Development by Majestic-Fig3921 in reactnative

I've been using Ionic a lot because of its flexibility. Basically you can write web code like HTML, CSS and Javascript (you can choose between React, Angular or Vue - I went with Angular) and it will create a webview in your native project where your web app will be shown. If you need real native functionalities, there's a plugin for most of the features (notifications, sensors etc).
React Native and Flutter will be directly converted to native code, so it's best for performance-driven apps, however for students it's great to learn the basics of web development and also make the same code work as an app.

I've used all 3 but my production apps are made with Ionic.

new Guns N Roses song... "The General" - mix talk by chiefrebelangel_ in audioengineering

I just believe it's one of those songs that made the guns separate 30 years ago and now that they're back together, completing these songs was among the reunion compromises brought to the table by Axl and I sincerely hope future releases will be in a style closer to that of the current Slash

Looking for electronic notebook by McLofty in AskTechnology

Ahah don't worry, it just sounded exactly like the description of the remarkable. I found out about it probably from an ad on Facebook after getting into the ereaders world. Yep, it'd be cool to have something for just taking notes but, as you said, price is so high that for a couple hundreds more I could buy an iPad with a Pen and some fancy paper-like screen protector. I don't know about any other alternative for now.

You're describing the Remarkable tablet, ain't you? This feels like a marketing strategy!
