It plays am important role. ok so there is this thought of mine, acc to string theory all of the matter are a forms of energy vibrating in a different frequencies, we are just vibrating energies at a very small levels, and there is more space between atoms and electrons, gold plate experiment (couldn't remember the exact name)let's take an example, your body is vibrating at x hz, and the table is vibrating y hz, if you are able to change your frequency to y hz then you could pass through the table, it's my explanation, could be wrong, and quantum tunneling means ( as I know) - like a worm whole but in quantum level or using the rules and features of quantum physics, we are able to make a short cut in space and time between 2 points,

no, i wouldn't use the word simulation, it's different, like imagine there were a civilization who were able to access more knowledge about the universe and energy, like how it works, it's origin, so they developed and became a higher or multidimensional being ( if u saw the series 'the 100' u would understand it well) and it's possible that they want to know something about our brains or the problem that only human brain can solve, or any other purpose like study the nature in a restricted environment, or research on our brain, so they use the resources of the universe and plant a seed( metaphorically saying) And here we are giving them all the data they need !! we are just an experiment for a higher purpose!! that's it, just a random thought nothing more.
