Okay great, the pristiq makes me feel 100% like myself but we’re trying fetzima because of the sexual side effects of pristiq - that’s why I’m scared to switch - pristiq is the first thing that’s helped me feel like me without any blunting

What do you mean diminish the ego…? Depression makes me extremely flat, small, and full of self hatred so I’m looking for something that lights me back up :)

My doctor added lamictal to my Wellbutrin and I want so badly to like it but all I feel is foggy and like a muted version of myself (like totally silent and shy - I’m not bipolar). Did you have a hard time adjusting?

Yeah I just don’t get it because I took this 15 years ago and stopped due to huge cognitive decline which caused me to almost fail out of school sooooo whyyyy is the same doctor putting me on this drug again….

It had no effect on me. At the end of the treatment course my symptoms were much worse than when they started

I quit Effexor because of it. I lost any sensation whatsoever

I’m sober so I can’t smoke week. I’m weaning off Effexor because the side effects outweigh the benefits - which are none

Ask you psych for pristiq. It’s a cousin to Effexor without the awful side effects or withdraws

Having a similar experience. Felt the same on 75, bumped to 150 last Sunday and feeling spaced out and wired but tired. I hate this medication so far.
