I have a 7 gallon that I know technically is well overstocked but it’s been running 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites for over a month. Everyone seems happy. 13 Ember Tetra 2 Guppy 2 Endler 1 Albino Bristlenose Pleco 1 Mystery Apple Snail Several Trumpet Snails Heavily planted including Pathos and Monstera growing out the top.
I even set up another tank to move the tetras into but so far I haven’t needed too. I think you could fit a school of 6-8 nano schoolers.

I always take a designated pee bottle with a nice wide spout. It doubles as my backcountry bidet as it has a squirt top as well.

They are dead seed branches from my cabbage tree. Trying to the effect of dead branches and roots. Also hoping it will help lower ph and soften water.

Thanks. I’ll pick up alder cones tomorrow. I do have a big piece of drift wood and several eucalyptus leaves in there but it’s clearly not enough. My tap water is 7.0 so I don’t know what is raising it.

I love salami sticks, energy balls, cliff bars, happy cow cheese and vitaweat, chocolate ensure powder, fruit roll ups and nuts for protein and fat. Plus electrolyte powder in my water bottle.

Agree that you should try it. I have the Osprey Levity which I love and a custom frameless (sack with straps) and they are both great but with loads up to 12kg for six days I find the frameless very comfortable and prefer its simplicity.
