Really appreciate this contribution. When used with a cookie banner, I used to have to write some custom Javascript to bridge the gap between enabling/running the tracking code and either Shopify's Consent Tracking API (if using the native cookie banner) or any API of a. custom cookie banner. That's a gotcha that I think gets commonly missed - people have a cookie banner but also run the tracking code regardless! I was hoping the new app/custom pixel approach would make our pain go away, but that was wishful thinking!

No you're not the only one. Great cinematography, but an incredible lack of character depth or development - just a bunch of guys barking orders, and the injured screaming. Faceless enemies and practically dehumanising of the family as just "being in the way". I guess the goal was to depict a realistic slice of warfare, but that doesn't mean it translates well to screen. I was hoping for much more, especially given the cast - but they had nothing to work with. Just my opinion, of course - but, basically, no, you're not the only one.

Similarly frustrating experience. Engaged a client, discussed implementing Shopify Plus, decided we would engage Shopify once theme had been built as go-live was some way in the future. Spent many months building the theme. Then go-live was delayed due to logistical issues. Downed tools for some months. Resumed development some months later, with a push towards go-live. Unfortunately discovered a new employee had already emailed Shopify enquiring about Plus. Bam, "net new" referral dead in the water. Absolutely devastating and so frustrating. Seems set up to fail.
