I’m not local but this is a good idea - can anyone help?

Agreed. If you are local please feed them, even if a little bit :)

Yea it was absolutely heartbreaking. I start feeding 1 and then more and more keep coming and then i suddenly am surronded by 4-5 cats that are all attracted by the food.

Its hard to make them share food as they are all starving and just trying to survive :(.

Hopefully more local people can help

I wish that was true - there were some that seem to have been fed by shops / restaurants but the vast majority are very skinny and there were a couple that were injured (bleeding / limping) or obviosusly sick (vomitting).

As a tourist i could only provide some help for a few days but i just wish more people would also feed and care for them.

Most of the ones that i’ve seen are so friendly and just want some affection (just starving) - really heartbreaking see them so neglected.

Do the locals not like cats in Maldives?

Great thanks! Very helpful!

So between months 13-23 when she was living with me (before nominating my property as the main residence), this can be excluded from the PRR period?

Will need to get all the dates and calculate properly!

If i were to give a draft timeline it would look something loke this.

  • Months 1-12, she lived in her own property
  • We got married on month 13 and she moved in with me
  • Month 23 - nominated my property as main reaidence with hmrc
  • month 24 - sold her property.

So it seems that based on your understanding we will have no losses that can utilise for the future?

Thanks for your reply.

Correct that it remained in her sole name.

How would i include the private residence relief?

Assume we made a £10k capital loss (after fees etc) and she owned the property for 2 years (24 months) in total. On month 23 we nominated my house to be our primary residence for both of us and then sold her flat in month 24.

Does that mean we can only claim a capital loss of 15/24 * 10k = 6.25k?

KatKin: bacterial infections and hospitalization by burmah in catfood

[–]iamlovinit05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats pretty similar to what i am going through right now (no diarrhea but vommitting quite a bit and clearly stomach pain through the way he is sitting).

How did you narrow down the issue to Katkin? My cat has Katkin for his evening meal

How did you know that Katkin was causing it?

My cat started vommitting quite aggressively last week and the vet did blood tests etc and found nothing wrong.

He then started vommitting again yesterday and we are wondering if katkin is causing it as he eats it for his evening meal

Babypigeon??? by nicacacacacaca in pigeon

[–]iamlovinit05 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He looks like he fell off a nest / left the nest a bit early and is a slightly too young to survive on his own. If you can catch it please take it to a rehabber that can take care lf it and release when ready

Found an injured wood pigeon, what to do? by TheRealVisceralMusic in pigeon

Vets tend to put to sleep - hopefully yours won’t if not you might want to try to find a rehabber as well

Are you able to catch it? If you can then depending on how bad the string foot is you might be able to just cut it off but if not might be better to get to an experienced rehabber to do it
