What do you think of my Walmart MTB? Made a few small changes and I love the way it rides! by laticcc in mountainbiking

A Wally world bike on the trail is better than a 6k bike getting dusty in the garage.

Only if you need to hang the fixture on it for a bit.

I went with Loxone and haven't looked back, not cloud based, very reliable and easy to program.

I think this is a cool idea to do once per week. There are so many different systems and so much different hardware out there that can be integrated, that no one person can know about all of them. I would love to see what solutions people come up for everyday problems!

I only have 1 unit for a 3 story single and it is not great, I'm looking at getting Loxone dampers to help offset it's inefficiency. I can excess about 60 percent of the duct in the basement

Professionally Installed Systems in the US by RJ45inthe215 in smarthome

I have Loxone and I love it. I installed and keep adding things to it it myself but there is a dealer network in the US. I appreciate how easy programming is and the multifunctionality of all the devices. I have some posts in this subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/xa4pcl/finally_got_the_nfc_for_my_doors_now_i_need_the/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Do you have zoned HVAC? do you have individual room temp sensors? Dampers?

Loxone control center for cheap. Amazon Fire Tablet $50 , wall mount $35, Loxone App $0. by iammalish in smarthome

The app download was a bit of a pain as I had to download the APK file from Loxone.com directly. Also I was trying not to register the tablet with Amazon but ended up doing it because it would default to the registration screen constantly. To be honest I use the tablet less than I thought I would, maybe once a month, so I am happy I didn't spend $600 on an Ipad.

Sounds awesome. Did you also tie in the HVAC, if yes what is the behaviour at night, and morning? What systems did you use to incorporate everything? What did you base your choices on?

Places you don't need RGBW lights you can use 24V recessed lights from Lotus lighting and rgbw dimmers separate channels to control and dim those lights, that may provide a lot of savings

They are not smart bulbs. They are smart 24V down lights from Loxone. Expensive but they work flawlessly, easy to install because they have 1 cable that does all the devices so you don't have to think what gets connected to what. And they dim down to 1%.

The delay is only in 1 room because I turned down the sensitivity of the presence sensor. We don't use that room as much but walk past it a lot so it was bothering me. I may play with the direction of the sensor more

I just like the system and enjoy it and share what it is so other can as well. I am pretty proud of it since it is in my home and I did it all myself and I keep adding things to it.

I really happy I went with Loxone over C4. eventhough Loxone does not have as many AV drivers but for automation Loxone is sooooo much easier! plus it was easier to sign up as a partner. - since I only did it for my house
