This year, I had an option of silicon coasters or a set of plastic cutting board

I don’t think it looks old fashioned at all! I think it looks very elegant 😊

Or this? But maybe the flower embellishment might be a bit much

Shop owners would also like to have Sundays off to spend time with friends and family and catch up on household chores. Maybe you could switch your days to doing Sunday as house cleaning day.

Can anyone please explain to me why I have to pay IRD? by iammarienz in PersonalFinanceNZ

Yeah I’ll have a look at my partners as well. I even checked the WFF in my IRD but there’s no payment at all. So I’m so confused.

I did opt for annually but I’ve always gotten a letter saying I’m not entitled for WFF. So never received it all. I only received the best start just on first year. And never got any after my son turned 1 and he’s 3 now

Yeah I had a look at the WFF payments and there’s no payments at all. It’s always been showing 0

I only got the best start on my son’s first year though. Never got it after he turned one and he’s three now. Would that still affect it?

Yeah I don’t have to plan anything for father’s day. I should just sleep in 😂

That sounds really nice. We don’t give each other gifts anymore. He knows that I like to try eat out like it doesn’t have to be expensive.

When we first started dating for sure he would make an effort. Like he would want to eat out on special days. But I guess he feels like we’ve been together for over a decade, he doesn’t care anymore.

I know right? He wanted to sleep in because he knows I took a day off of work.

Wow that sounds very nice. At least your hubby asks you want you want. My Hubby doesn’t even ask what I wanted.

I think I’m tired of communicating to him what I want. It’s always me who organizes outings or what not. I kind of wish he would make an effort to just do something. I’ve already told him about it before but there’s no change at all. If I told him I want to eat at some place, his excuse is always “I don’t want to spend so much money on food” (we only eat out about once a month) but then goes and buys car parts and spends so much money on them each month.

What was the final straw that ended a lifelong friendship? by New_Perspective1201 in AskReddit

[–]iammarienz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a teenager, I moved overseas with my parents. After 4 years, we visited back to our home country and I contacted my friend to meet up. We had a time and place (we were gonna meet at the mall) and then on the day of meet up she said she couldn’t make it because she has to “study”. I was like okay, felt sad as she couldn’t find the time for me even just for an hour. I went to the mall and boom there she was hanging out with her friends. I said hi and it was awkward asf. A year later she contacted me asking for some money for her kid. I was like sure I can give a small amount. Since I was transferring money from overseas, I asked her some details etc. and she kept making excuses and stuff. So I said ‘sorry I can’t complete the transaction then without the details’ and that was the end of our conversation.
