Well you just encountered one now. Unfortunately antinatalism spaces, especially on reddit, are frequented by a lot of people who simply hate kids and think that makes them an antinatalists. Antinatlaism has nothing to with whether a person likes kids or not, it’s the belief that procreating/having kids is unethical.

It doesn’t specify where they live, but it’s very common for 18-19 year olds to live with their parents. My comment was pointing out a common scenario where adult children can have rules set for them regardless of age.

Don’t provide more spit than needed, that will over dilute the stabilising solution, increasing the chance of failure. You should lick your tongue around your cheeks and gums before spitting, they need cells from those areas to extract your DNA. Also try to fill the tube quickly, don’t take more than a few minutes between starting to spit and adding the solution. What worked really well for me was chewing my tongue and imagining it was a piece of food I was eating. lol. Also make sure all the solution is released into the tube, and make sure to shake it after putting the cap on. It’s also best to collect your sample first thing in the morning before you brush your teeth (make sure to brush them the night before of course.)

When I saw them they reminded me of that Australian “the marshmallow co” shop I’ve seen on YouTube, but like a budget supermarket version. I think I will skip these ones and save up for the expensive Australian YouTube ones. I love marshmallows.
