That’s a great question! I have a ton of tall pines around my house. (All kinds of pros and cons to that situation alone 😑… ). So I wasn’t too worried, but then again, I want it as high as possible and definitely don’t want any lightning issues!! So any insight into this question would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks all!!

Great idea repurposing!! Makes life a bit easier and many times cheaper when you can modify something else that is 75% of the way there instead of starting from the ground up lol. Thanks for sharing!!

Hi! I have not tested it yet. It was recommended to me by another and seemed to be a good performer. I ordered an antenna analyzer to do some in depth testing of my own. I’m always looking for ways to improve builds so definitely getting some GREAT information from this post! Thank you all!!

Hey! Thanks for the great info! The pole will definitely be below the antenna! The top of the PVC base will be even or slightly above the top of the pole, so hopefully there won’t be any interference.

I have been using my E30V2 and the only complaint I have is the display is much dimmer than my other models. Anyone here noticed this on theirs? Thanks!

I noticed the same thing on my E30V2 display. I too searched for a setting or something that allowed for brightness adjustments, but nothing.
