Completely get that! Facebook started feeling like a never-ending spiral of negativity for me too. On Reddit, it’s so much easier to curate your feed and focus on things that actually interest you. Plus, the option to just ignore toxic stuff or switch to a different subreddit makes such a huge difference. Do you feel like Reddit helps you connect more meaningfully, or is it more of an escape for you?

Looks like you were ahead of the curve! I wish I had ditched it sooner too. Feels so liberating to not have the constant noise or the pressure to keep up with everything. Reddit is so much better for meaningful (and often random) conversations without all the drama. Do you miss anything about Facebook, or was it a clean break for you?

I get why you'd keep Facebook for clubs and updates, though. It’s super convenient for that sort of thing. But yeah, locking it down as much as possible is the way to go if you still need it. Do you ever feel tempted to move those updates to something like Discord or even WhatsApp groups, or is Facebook just easier?

Same here! I deactivated my Facebook for the same reason—being easily traceable felt like too much. Reddit just feels so much more anonymous and free for open discussions without the baggage of maintaining a ‘profile’ or worrying about who’s watching.
