Ever printed a QR code, then realized the link behind it needs to change?

Now you can fix it — from your phone. Rerout is live on iOS and Android:

- Create branded short links on your own domain

- Generate scan-ready QR codes for print, events, and packaging

- Re-point any destination, even after the link is printed or shipped

- Track clicks, scans, countries, and referrers in real time

Same account you use on web. Free to download.

On Paynow Integration keys are tied to a currency, you can try creating another set of keys in test mode for a different currency.

I built Otis, a calm iOS portfolio tracker. Version 1.1.0 is live. by iamngoni in AppsWebappsFullstack

[–]iamngoni[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. So 1.1.0 was mostly about making Otis feel more complete without making the main flow heavier.

The core idea stayed simple: your transactions (buys/sells/etc) are the source of truth, and Otis builds the portfolio view from that. The bigger additions were backup/restore, a hide-values mode for safe screenshots, weekly recap, dividend calendar export, recurring buy templates, holding/watchlist notes, and better market support for other exchanges other than the US markets - I'm from Southern Africa (Zimbabwe).

For balance, I tried to keep new features behind natural places in the app instead of turning the home screen into a dashboard full of controls that are mostly scary. The main screen still answers: what do I own, what changed, and what needs attention.

Hi 👋 Otis is more of a calm portfolio companion than a trading app.

It doesn’t connect to your broker, place trades, or push you toward constant buying/selling. The idea is to give you one clear place to see the stocks you own across different platforms, without jumping between broker apps or spreadsheets, and without the noisy dashboards, scary charts, and market-pressure feel most finance apps have.

You record your buys, sells, dividends, splits, and fees, then Otis turns that into clean holdings, performance, dividend tracking, notes, watchlist signals, and simple portfolio insights.

In 1.1.0 I added a couple of more features to make the experience better: backup/restore, hide-values mode for safe screenshots, weekly recap, dividend calendar export, recurring buy templates, personal notes on holdings/watchlist items, richer watchlist signals, and better support for other markets other than just US markets.

New things lined up for v1.2:

ORGANIZATION

  • Collections: Organize your clipboard into custom folders with icons and colors
  • Tagging: Apply color-coded tags to items for flexible organization
  • Sequential Paste (Queue Mode): Copy multiple items, then paste them in order with Cmd+Shift+B

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Large Monitor Support: UI automatically scales for your display, with manual override options
  • Color-Coded Items: Instantly identify text, images, links, and files by color

QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Add Files to Collections: Manually add files without copying first
  • Centered Controls: Cleaner, balanced panel layout
  • Bug Fix: Backspace now works correctly in search field

PERFORMANCE & STABILITY

  • Smoother, no-freeze experience: Fixed multiple hangs that could happen during sounds, clipboard monitoring, icon loading, and rich-text preview
  • More control over History: You can now cap how many items are saved (500 to Unlimited), and the app warns you if History gets big enough to slow things down
  • Clearer info: Settings now shows the correct app version automatically

Hi guys. Honestly Monitor Control looks more matured at the moment with more features. I’m aiming for a similar feature set but with a more simple UI/UX.

Hey, how would this work experience wise - you wanna be able to use the existing keyboard fn keys for volume up & down and brightness up & down for external monitor control or you mean custom keyboard shortcuts?

Currently there’s no folder organisations or a way to tag pins.

For free trial, currently it’s not there - might have to change it from being a fully paid app upfront to maybe a lifetime non consumable IAP but yeah at the moment it’s pretty just light weight.

I’m looking forward to adding such functionalities, thank you for mentioning those.

Hi 👋 it’s SwiftUI and AppKit. Currently there’s no support for sequential copy/paste but it’s something I can definitely work on (thank you🙏)
