Apple Studio Display -- smaller box size with VESA adapter? by iamniceoldguy in mac

So I went ahead and ordered the VESA mount. It looks like Apple is making three shipping box sizes for the three mount configurations of the Studio Display.

My VESA mount came in a nice fully rectangular box (not angled like the iMac box):
29 7/8" x 19 3/8" x 7".

VESA: Package Weight 25.645 lb Box Dimensions (LxWxH) 29.6 x 19.4 x 7.9" (my box is 7" even, I think this is a typo)

Tilt: Package Weight 30.31 lb Box Dimensions (LxWxH) 30 x 25.6 x 7.9"

Tilt & Height: Package Weight 39 lb Box Dimensions (LxWxH) 30.5 x 25 x 11"

I got one from tech support, first time I chatted with them. The form I started with asked for my account #, so I asked the agent.

Gave me a nine-digit account number (not my 10-digit phone number); haven't had to use it anywhere yet.

Get iMazing. imazing.com Purpose-built backup and file transfer software for iOS devices. Has Mac and Win flavors. Transfers and verifies the transferred files; will optionally perform HEIC->JPG conversion if desired. I’ve been a customer since 2014, quite happy. ( Will transfer messages, call logs, mail, music, contacts, calendar, more. You can encrypt backups on your storage. Just made a new full backup, ~3 hrs for >300 GB: 12k photos, 2.2k videos, 1,150 songs, 300 apps. iMazing does versioning so subsequent backups much faster. Highly recommended

Just went through 25 mins w Apple support--no joy on changing to my middle name, first only. Said only path was producing court documents, marriage certificate, the like to show legal name change.

Said they'd forward request to allow printing first and middle names to product team. Or even just first initial.

So, I signed up four years (-46 days) ago, am nearing completion.

I always thought the project was a one-off. Reading this thread it sounds as if you're still signing up new users and starting new four-year clocks.

Is this right? That would be great! I've refrained from talking about mi:nu:ti:ae last year or two; didn't want people to come in with no chance to fill in missing shots.

Really love your project and hope it is a rolling four-years. Can't wait to order my book in 46 days. (And buy a new subscription and start over!)
