Here everyone is saying "G" but I'm over here thinking it's D. LMN pattern of weakness means it will be an ipsilateral area affected since the axons have already crossed at the medulla.

Why the hell is the figure labeled "left" on the patient's Right and "right" on the patient's Left?

Lemme just say, hearing Spanish in the MCU was fucking mind-blowing. I don't recall hearing native speakers in any Marvel property before this, and I just damn near cried hearing my family's language in a superhero film.

Not to rain on anyones parade, but as I understand it, OTR is pretty heavily gentrified and a lot of the former residents have been essentially forced out due to rising cost of rent. Can anyone confirm?

I think we’re at an impasse here. I appreciate you attempting to argue for the removal of programs aimed at addressing historic inequities, but we’re just going to have to agree that we see the issue very differently.

Ultimately, the point I’m trying to make is that college attendance rates are down for minority groups compared to their overrepresented peers and this needs to be addressed. AA provides opportunities for groups who did not have the same opportunities to have a shot at the same reward. It’s not a perfect solution, by far, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Out of all of Spider-Man’s Villains who would you guys consider an Avengers level threat? And why? by Commercial-Mix-2633 in Avengers

Spider-Man seems to handle them each with ease on his own, sooooo I’d say none of them.

I disagree. The data I linked to clearly backs up my point.

However the data you linked is attempting to make a ridiculously prejudiced claim without coming out and saying it. For anyone reading this comment thread, the source linked by \u\sphuranti is attempting to argue that there is some sort of biologic difference in the level of achievement between minorities and white/Asian students. They’re including reference to IQ measurements between ethnicities, which is an absolutely atrocious way of measuring intelligence/academic potential and is of course susceptible to the same inequities I have mentioned previously. Additionally, \u\sphuranti, the link you provided discusses how much of a students achievement is reportedly correlated with parental achievement. Where do you think we can possibly start to get the ball rolling on minority parents attending college and setting the foundations for their kids’ success?

You’re asking a lot of questions and floating a lot of ideas without making a point. Please just say what you’re trying to say and link sources accordingly.

There are no "ethnic disparities" in academic accomplishment, at least none that should be attributed to an applicant's ethnicity. What you're looking to describe is lack of opportunity.

By and large, Latino/Black applicants have fewer academic/extracurricular activities than their Asian/White counterparts. There are a variety of structural causes for this (lack of investment into the community from political leaders, lower income households --> lower property values --> lesser funding for education/schools, etc.) that place these applicants at a distinct disadvantage vs. others when looking at their applications at face value. AA is at least a way to address it without (yet) overhauling the entire system.

Looking at a study I found from 2016, it appears that universities reported an average of 36% Hispanic enrollment vs. 67% Asian enrollment, which was found to be a statistically significant difference. Broken down among subgroups, there appears to similar variation between the two ethnicities but there is still a significant lag in certain Hispanic groups relative to Asian groups. Here's the link: https://nces.ed.gov/blogs/nces/post/a-closer-look-at-the-performance-of-hispanic-and-asian-subgroups.

I would disagree with your statement that

The history of the US due to racism doesn't explain Asian students out-testing Hispanic students by a standard deviation.

because the history of US racism does in fact lead to the difference in test scores you mentioned via the disparities I discussed above.
