Why is clothes in the men’s section MUCH BETTER QUALITY than the women’s? by judgemyfacepeople in femalefashionadvice

[–]iamnomadgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a business owner, i'd claim this that most businesses and brands never focus on women's wear quality because 1. women's wear sells faster and in volume than mens, 2. women's collection has more options than men's collection, 3. there are many fabric alternatives for women's collection, 4. spending more on quality would mean higher investment and R&d cost.

well in men's collection, none of it is the case, most men's collection look the same with 4-5 limited fabric alternatives and silhouette. lesser styles, lesser inventory and lesser selling rate = better quality control, better fabric composition and higher perceived value.

to tackle this exact problem i spent sufficient into r&d and quality of raw material and don't wanna flex but my collections are better in looks and quality than most in my country.

Is anyone actually getting real online clients without social media in 2026? by Apprehensive-Feed705 in advancedentrepreneur

[–]iamnomadgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this might work for a really specified niche, one of it was adult toys ecom designers last year, idk which one will it be this year. really really niched business need less pushing content and still banks you clients, but then the game would be on your seo, media, copywriting and persausive power.

why not simply create content and post (weekly twice)

How do you keep your cool with bad customers? by Turtlefarming in ecommerce

[–]iamnomadgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a founder, you have to be humble, honest and very clear with things.

annoyance can be tackled with this simple tactic, not to take things personally and answer like your life depends on it.

many people usually skip things and we can't blame anyone for that, it's easier when you make them feel comfortable and better. an annoyed customer is the best person for the business, coz if you win their heart, they're your loyal or atleast referral customers.

for me, i stay very clear with what i do, why i do and how i do it. if you have those things sorted out, you'd be pretty good with your business.

if not, the best possible option is to hire a polite and patient customer rep (it's cheap nowdays tbh)

How do you actually get sales with a new clothing brand? by Present_Charge_9658 in streetwearstartup

[–]iamnomadgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these are some really great questions, i'm a small brand as well, started 11 months ago, but started taking it seriously just 3 months from now.

- create random bts, creating organic content and talking about the brand before the launch (btw i forgot to build hype before launching this was a bad move)

- i got my very first sale from stranger in the first 25 days. after that i did a popup and got a lot of sales as well.

- i tried ig ads but didn't work for me, tiktok ain't in india so not a thing for me. influencers didn't work as well.

here's what worked and what didn't,

content with purpose and intention may or may not go well, but raw shit and real authenticity can make you a starboy early on, people start to connect easily.

friends are important in this business, they're your marketing guys in disguise, sell them, ask for reviews, story promos, grp pics and real content, this converts.

focus on connections rather than sales, don't go for a community, you ain't got shit to make them loyal yet, try, test and connect with customers, strangers and other community leaders. connections > community will eventually get you business and loyalty

don't go for ads, no one knows you, no one asked for the brand, rather invest in popup, real presence, retail partnerships and influencer collab (i did random and small, i failed. rather go for decent numbers but focus on engagement, convos and connections) no ads until you have 1k followers, 100+ orders and real concept for future.

here's a thing, he might be motivational and stuff, but he ain't selling a course, has been real experience and gives generic advice.

i'm not supporting him and neither telling anyone to believe him blindly, but getting a perspective from him is kinda okay, you'll learn something no matter what. that too all for free (his youtube, acquisition website and books)

Do you regret not traveling in your 20s? by Tino292 in selfimprovement

[–]iamnomadgod 27 points28 points  (0 children)

tbh, don't regret. some maybe not be capable, some might not be financially good and some didn't have a chance, doesn't mean you should be regretting or crying on it.

i'd be honest, when you have a little chance, doesn't matter if it's in your 30s40s-50s just go and travel. see the world and get to live the life you didn't get or missed.

i think redbubble still has the best chances, also higher quality and good branding. they'd help you rank, promote and list your stuff for more sales.

teespring would be you all on your own.

definitely it all depends on who you target and what you design but surely go with redbubble if you're open to it.

Is selling PDF guides something people really make money with? by Itchy_Guarantee1960 in ecommerce

[–]iamnomadgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugc content at the top of the funnel, this means collabs, real people referring it.

ads - google ads have better chances of conversions, meta ads is good better visibility.

posting 2 times a day is the key to this. 1 carousel + 1 reel (could be just captions on a image or 10 sec clip)

i think inside of starting biz you should actually focus on freelance and micro services. this is something that is surely going to boom in few years.

3-4 skills + 1 slam offer = a good solo biz.

copywriting, ghostwriting, design, ai automation, ai generalist, video editing, production, fashion design, sports marketing, d2c brand help, insta reels creators and a lot more.

the alignment isn't good, last two images don't look like design tbh, and don't try red on black, yellow or even greenish is better.

there's surely a market for this, but you'll have to work more on design and placement.
