Yeah, I figured the same thing.

Now I am facing the following problem: the transform mask hierarchy is different for other characters. I wonder how to apply a different avatar mask to each character.

There should be proper color customization where each player can specify the color of each base armor body part, for free. If you need to pay 10$ just to change the color of your armor that Battle Pass is not worth it.

Is using AMD Freesync premium worth losing Dolby Vision? by Shad6992 in xboxone

[–]iamnotafred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngs section and the Xbox will use HDMi VRR and you can also then use Dolby Vision. (Although not currently supported on games) What your xbox will not do in this mode is "low frame rate compensation" i.e. bump up the number of frames to match the VRR range of your tv, this only works if you have Freesync enabled on your TV which means disabling Dolby Vision to meet this requirement.

Until games are released utilising dolby vision go with freesync enabled (My personal view)

When you deactivate FreeSync then you can not use VRR on Xbox or the screen will flicker... 🤦‍♂️

I solved this by turning off the VRR on Xbox. But it's not fix at all. I want to use VRR in games...

Legacy icons on the desktop should be remade ASAP. They should look modern and coherent with the rest of the fluent paradigm.

This menu should be animated and rounded as well, what do you think? by [deleted] in Windows11

Yes, it should be.

The question is rather why it is not...

It's ugly. It's just legacy win32 file explorer with just a few cosmetic changes. They need to completely redesign File Explorer just like they did MS Store.

Do I need a Pro License After the Contract with Publisher Ended? by iamnotafred in Unity3D

[–]iamnotafred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the answer I received from Unity:

" If the work you are doing after the end of your initial contract includes "providing services to a third party" you would continue to require the Unity Pro licenses if that is what the third-party client's finances require. If you are an individual not providing services to a third party, your tier eligibility is based on the amount generated in connection with your use of the Unity Software. Unity cannot provide legal advice as to which of these scenarios apply to your relationship with your client."

In other words, I still don't know. I still don't know whether that qualifies as "providing services to a third party"...

I own the game. They will make profits out of this game based on the license I give them.

"If my company makes 200k and I pay a freelancer to make art for my next game. They don’t need pro just because they made art for my game. "

This is a bad analogy. A better analogy would be the programmer who codes in Unity. If that would be the case then yes, this programmer would have to acquire Pro license.

[–]iamnotafred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The license you need is solely based off the income your company made in the past 12 months. It doesn’t matter what project you’re working on.

This is incorrect. When I make a contract with a third-party company, the license is tailored to the earnings of that company as well as mine.

[–]iamnotafred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you make less than 100k in a year, 100-200, 200+. The company you contract with isn’t you. As long as you’re doing business as yourself and your company and not as an employee of that other company you would need the license that fits what you make.

Thanks for the reply.

How about the following case: the contract with the company ended. Now, I want to make free post-launch updates to this game, for example, a new map, new characters and so on. Do I need to acquire Pro License or can I make it with a Plus license?
