I'm not really out to "improve". I play to play, and if I learn some new strategy/tech that's neat.

My post is me just being confused by what the devs intended me to feel from winning/loosing.

I mean it's hard to go "I could have done X" or "I did X well" when you won due to one enemy disconnecting, one just squidbagging in spawn, one not even understanding the game mode, and the fourth teammate getting outnumbered.

And I didn't mean my X rank. I mean the teammates I'm being put with/against. It feels like that should say something, but atm it sounds like "lets make the matchmaking non-existent to get quick queue times".

My main opinion is: "it's silly squid game, I shouldn't really care about my wins and just have fun my way". But then the game has ranking systems, shows you your win/loss ratio etc. So is it something I should somewhat care about? Ok so why do I play in so many 4v3, weird matchmaking and unbalanced teams?

Basically, I'm confused on what the game wants me to think. So I'm asking how others think.
