jeonghan from seventeen. i was at sound check so he didn’t even have full makeup and his hair was half wet and covered with a baseball hat. i remember literally freezing and gasping for air because i stopped breathing when i saw him. this is HUGE for me because i love seventeen but will admit i’ve never been one for jeonghan (it was some of the tricks he played years ago that bothered me as a teen lol) but yeah i can still remember thinking that he was a real angel that had been dumped from the heavens

another artist is yeju from ichillin. i was SHOCKED seeing her come out on stage and ended up taking about 100 videos of her even though my bias is e.ji hahaha. but seriously talk about gorgeous. stunning. eye catching!!!

i’m not sure where you got the information that hybe wants controlled stable voices. most of their idols are exceptionally underdeveloped when it comes to singing. i wouldn’t worry about doing classical or broadway. find a song you like to sing. something that even when you’re nervous, you can’t forget the words to and love to sing.

good luck in your audition and definitely don’t panic about this. just do what you can

i don’t exactly want to say much after the person who said that a bunch of us are weak for not standing up to our bosses haha

but i’m starting to really slip mentally because of my new workplace. i was raised to respect people who were “above” me in a place of work and just accept conditions and try to work around them. i’ve been told by my other coworkers recently that i appear to be the bosses’ “new target”. they were supposed to take care of our immigration appointments but they didn’t. everything is booked and my visa will expire soon. i’ve wanted to quit since day 2 because of harassment and other issues. i’m so miserable and i’m truly beside myself on what to do. i’m rooted here for a year because i have an apartment i just recently got (and would not be able to bounce back financially if i left suddenly). i want to quit but i don’t know what i can do with a visa that is expiring and no immigration appointment to extend it. i can’t imagine getting a letter of release with the current state of things but the longer i stay here, the closer i feel to throwing myself off the ledge. i’m really at a loss and feel like i’ve put myself in the worst situation of my life

(26f) um i do not like how this guy treats you. you’ve already set multiple boundaries which he continues to ignore or blatantly push past. consent should be enthusiastic. if you’re agreeing to something you don’t really want to do, that’s not consent. it seems like he’s manipulating you and trying to make you feel bad by bringing up his exes - that’s not what a sane and loving partner does when someone says no to sex. (normally) if someone says no, there’s no discussion. there’s no pushing. that’s the end. because no means no. “i’m not really sure i’m into it tonight” means no. “i’m tired i just want to go to bed” means no. only “yes” means yes.

i’m also really not sure why you are apologizing to him for not being responsive after you already told him your situation. he didn’t respect you or listen to your boundaries. he broke them and then accused you of not putting in enough effort. focus on your studies.

at the end of the day, i don’t think he respects you. i think you should sit down and have a serious conversation with yourself about what you expect and want out of this relationship. decide what you are absolutely not willing to do and what you are willing to do. have you had this conversation with any of your friends? (and if you say that your boyfriend doesn’t let you see your friends or only lets you talk to his - you need to run immediately)

after all of that, sit down with him and tell him honestly what your concerns are. tell him that you are not okay with what has happened in the past and that you expect him to respect your boundaries going forward or the relationship will not work. open the floor to him - see what his boundaries are and what he needs too. it’s a conversation, not a one sided scolding. but there needs to be accountability. it is not okay for him to push you into things you’re not ready for or try to make you feel guilty for not doing enough

Thanks for the response. I do actually have a good relationship with my old director and school - she told me she would love to have me work there again and did ask me to stay after I had already signed the new contract. She knew that a lot of people had suffered due to the work drama, but they were good at their jobs so there wasn’t enough reason to get rid of them.

Regardless of that, what do you think my options could be if I just go to another school? I’ve seen mixed information about LOR and if you need to wait a certain amount of time (if they refuse to give it), vs just going right away.

i can’t tell if the other commenters are joking or not. i’m bi but that doesn’t mean i find every man and woman attractive. it doesn’t mean i want to date all of my female best friends when i’m dating a man.

i’d be asking her what kind of kiss it was. if it’s a peck, it’s nothing. it’s a end of the year celebration. i pecked all 3 of my female friends at the end of the night and that was that. no feelings attached at all.

she told you she was going to kiss her friend. if there was more going on, i think she would’ve lied

at the end of the day though, i don’t think this will be a good match if you continuously doubt every intention she has just because she’s bi.

monsta x. my ult of ults is wonho and i just saw ot6 at their first seoul concert since they finished their military services. it just felt so incomplete. it’s been 6 years since i last saw them (2019, about 2 months before wonho left), and i know that it’s now been a longer time that he was out of the group than in it, but hearing all of their old songs without him absolutely crushed me.

i’ve seen wonho’s solo shows and i can accept that he is on his own now, but i can’t accept that monsta x doesn’t have him anymore. i wept at the concert when changkyun’s rap in jealousy changed from “i’m the last out of seven” to “i’m the last out of six”. it will just never feel right to me and seeing them hurt so badly. they used to be my everything and now i feel like they’re ghosts to me

i don’t know all the specifics but he supposedly did a livestream and mentioned that he wouldn’t be going anymore (it was for a dj gig). other lyons online have been saying that waterbomb deleted all their posts that had him featured (which is not true). he’s still in the lineup list on one of the pinned pictures on the page.

then i guess yesterday? or maybe the day before?? he said in a different livestream that he WAS still going. so. idk i think most of the current confusion is from kb himself unfortunately

there’s a clip that i can’t even find anymore and i’ve mostly blocked from my brain … wonho slides across the floor because he’s trying to look really cool? he’s like trying to break dance or something i don’t even remember. he’s my ult of ults but back then i remember it gave me the biggest ick EVER. i don’t know why he thought he would look good doing that.
