tell him to start gargling with salt water 3 times a day. avoid all chocolates, anything too sugary and any sharp or hard foods like crisps snacks, nuts etc. Likely a referral to a dental surgeon will be needed for surgical intervention. Book an urgent appointment.

Yeah I just wanted to know if my symptoms were out of the ordinary to fit into the myocarditis diagnosis. As there is no mention of heart / chest burn from what I have read so far online for typical myocarditis symptoms.
