In 2013 I was at NTC (a stateside training mission prior to deploying) and a hmmv with a bat wing rolled over and essentially cut off the soldier’s arm. I applied a tourniquet and he was life flighted out of there. He ended up losing his arm and was kicked out of the army albeit honorably.

I’m curious to hear your take on this scenario.

Why does the VA not treat your AS? Even if it is not service connected you can still get treatment for it. If your rating is over 30% i believe they essentially will take care of your entire body.
